That girl, she looked funny yet good in that uniform. She was beautiful but weird. And she's a bad lier. Lost, yeah right? Why did she knock on my door? I'll have to ask her the next time I see her. Which maybe in school. I didn't want to go, but my parents were making me. Especially my sweet mother. She demands I go to school like any average kid. Me, normal? Yeah right. I am not normal.
I was past normal.
Like you can take the regular and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. I stood up and looked in the mirror. But what I love about this place is the junk food. The sweet junk food and video games. I love all that.
And the first thing I did, when I arrived here, I got piercings and tattoos. And I have to make sure my parents don't see them. Especially not my mother, she will freak out the most.
"Everything alright sir?" his butler George walked
"Yeah I'm fine," Luke said. "And we talked about the whole sir and master thing. In the house call me Luke." George just shrugged. "How was the shopping?"
"It was interesting," he said. "You'll be getting your uniform soon."
"Oh," Luke was hoping he wouldn't find them. Who could've had shown them to him?
"A nice women and her daughter will help us," he said. "The daughter will be your guide."
"I don't need no guide," I said. "Well, this daughter better be a hot guide."
He just chuckled. "Well, be ready it will be a surprise," he said and walked out.
I hate surprise.
I walked over to the window. How I wish I could feel the wind. I don't understand why my parents decided to send me here. To a town full of humans. That's right I'm not normal, nor am I human. I'm a full-blooded demon. With tail and wings and horn. Just like in those books.
Those books that need to be burn we aren't ugly or look hideous like they picture described us.
There two different demons, those who are born and have souls. And the soulless.
The way to tell them apart is by the color of their skin. Demons with soul have red skin. And those that are soulless, their skin are blue. And our eyes tend t change colors. Depending on the mood.
Thought, the soulless are more reckless and can get into troubled. I am both, kind of, I do have a soul but only half. I can die if I am not careful.
My father is soulless, but he somehow can control himself. He rules both types of demons. That leaves my mother. She has a soul. And join does two together and bang, I came out. I'm their only child. Alright no, I'm not, but I'm the youngest. I hate being the youngest. They treated me like I can't take care of myself. Which there wrong, I can take care of myself. Don't mind George; my mother, send him with me.
"Sir, dinner is ready" I sighed and got up.
It's how it was every night George and me sitting here eating alone. My parents were back at home. My real house. It's a secret.
I ate in silence. Picking at my food like I always. After dinner, I locked myself in my room. I showered and just laid in bed. I fiddle with the piercings on my lip. My mother knew about this, and she freaked out when she saw them. She just shook her head at me. The good thing is she doesn't know about the tattoos, yet. She will know soon.
I rolled on to my stomach. How I hate not being able to fly. Maybe I can. I got up and went to the window opening it up. I stepped out on to the balcony and climbed on the rail. I stood there looked out, feeling the wind. I took my shirt off and spread my wings.
