It's so hard. Watching Elise from afar is hard. Calvin had joined the school. It's like he was the one that entered since the beginning of the school year. I go to another school. I know I made the right choice. But it's painful. I had decided to erase only her memories and a few others I don't like. Everyone else she knows, know me. But I suppose it's hard for them too.
Each month I see her once in a while. Her belly is growing, my child. I won't go near her; I can't.
By the time school ended. I finally graduated. I'm glad I graduated first that way I could go to Calvin graduation and see her for a while.
"Yea!" I chuckled as Calvin got his diploma and yelling. "Take that suckers!" He would never change. Throughout the whole ceremony, I was getting anxious. When Elise came up, I felt pain. It pains me not to be able to hold her. It needs to be that way.
After it was over, I walked toward Calvin. I had my hood up.
"Hey," I smiled. "Congrats."
"Yeah yeah smarter than you," he smirked.
"Yeah you're so full of yourself," I chuckled. Mother came and snapped a picture of us.
"Oh how lovely," she smiled. "Can't wait 'til Alina reaches high school."
"Oh boy, guys better watch out," Calvin said.
"What?!" And speaking of the devil. She came and kicked us and ran off. Brat.
"Oh," my mother smiled and walked away.
"Calvin!" Rick yelled. He was heading towards us. Shawn and Dulce were with them. "Congrats boo."
"Boo?" I chuckled. "Really?"
"Oh hush it," Rick kissed my brother. I had to gag.
"Congrats," Dulce said.
"Yeah man can't wait 'til we graduate," Shawn smiled.
We talked for awhile. And taking pictures from my mother. She took a bunch of them. And they all tensed up. I was going to ask what was wrong but then I heard her.
"Hey, your taking pictures without me, if cause I'm fat isn't it?" I didn't even turn. I looked at my brother for help. He just shrugged.
"Of course not dear," that was my mother. "Hi, I'm Elena, Calvin's mother."
"Oh, nice to meet you," Elise smiled. Damn.
"Ahem, son, don't be rude and introduce yourself," oh crap. Mom, why would she put me in this situation? I groaned and turned around. "Take that off." Mother flip my hood off.
"Um, hi I'm Luke," I said.
"Oh hello," she extended her hand. I shook it and pulled my hand away. "I'm Elise."
I just smiled.
"Anyways, party!" Rick said. "Come on."
"Come on Elise," Dulce dragged her away. I sighed. "You to Luke!" I see they plan this I know they did. Traitors.
The party was in my backyard. Calvin didn't even tell me. That bastard. There all traitors. I just slumped in my chair watching everyone have fun. It was mostly graduates and some lower classmates. Elise was having fun, I could tell. Gah, when is this night going to be over!
"Oh," I sat up. Elise sat next to me. "Hi."
"Um, hi," I smiled this isn't good.
"You don't party much do you?" She asked.
"I do, just getting bored of them," I said.
"True," gosh it's like what we went through didn't even happen. It seemed as if it was just yesterday when I had decided to erase Elise's memory of me. It was difficult to speak to her. "Ah," I looked at her. She placed a hand on her stomach. Oh please tell me she isn't giving birth, wait she still has a few more months to go. "Touch," she grabbed my hand and placed it on her belly. Her soft hands. I don't want to feel. "Can you feel him kicking?"
