Elise-26: Unexpected Pregnancy

This situation was stupid and ridiculous. How could my parents keep this from me? I'm not human, but a damn vampire. But I'm only half; my other half is human.

My mother was human when she had me. Father turned her into a vampire after she fell ill. I feel so, so angry!

"Really?" I had told Shawn everything. His the only one that could understand me. He did confess to Dulce, and she accepted him.

"Yup," I bit on my pizza.

"Well, it's not bad is it?" Dulce asked.

I shrugged.

"Anything from Rick?" I asked. Rick hasn't been back yet; it's been a week. School started. Luke never came back either. But I have faith that he will be back.

"Calvin probably has him," Shawn chuckled."What you know Rick he would rather be with him alone than come back to school."

"True, but he could call or something," I sighed.

"Oh, look miss lonely," I groaned. I don't want to deal with the trash.

"Go away Natalie," I said.

"Make me, what your boyfriend finally dumped you?" She laughed. My face heats up in anger. I stood up and was about to yell at her when I felt nausea. And boy I didn't even make it to the bathroom. I throw up all over Nat's new heels. Well, I felt embarrassed but was happy for ruining her shoes. "Ah, your little bitch!" She stomped off, people laughing at her.

"Come on," Dulce helped me to the nurse's office. Once there I threw up, again. Then I washed my mouth with water and used toothpaste to remove the bad taste. Weird the nurse had some. After that, the nurse told me to rest. Dulce had to go to class but said she'll be back later to check on me, with Shawn. I nodded and lay there.

I must've had eaten something spoiled. I cover up. A nap will help me. My stomach was still upset. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep, but then I opened them.

"Oh no!" I yelled. Oh god don't let it be what I'm thinking.

"Elise are you alright?" The nurse sat down rubbing my back.

"Miss Riley, you don't happen to have an um," I whisper the rest to her. Her eyes widened but nodded. She left for a second and came back. I went into the bathroom and did what the nurse told me to do. And now I'm here waiting for 30 minutes.

"It's finished," I took a deep breath. "Want me to look at it?"

"Yes please," she grabbed it. I waited. She smiled, but it was a sad, happy smile. "Oh god, I am aren't I?"

"Yes," she said. "Your pregnant Elise."

I sat down crying. No, I can't be pregnant, not without Luke here. I need him; I can't raise a child alone.

"It will be okay; there are options," she said.

"What?" I looked at her. "No, I want to keep it."

"That's a good choice, you're a strong woman Elise," I cried."You'll get through it with or without the father."

"Yes," I hugged her. I needed this.

I was feeling much better; I went to class. How am I going to tell my parents? They'll be pissed. Wait, no they lie to me, so they have to accept this. So after school, I went straight home, I texted Shawn and Dulce.

Now here I was, standing in front of them.

"Okay don't get mad, since I'm already mad at both of you, but I'm pregnant," and so the whole lecture of not being responsible went on and on. "Hey, you both lie to me!"

"But that's different, Elise your pregnant, a child is a great responsibility," my mother said. "It's a hard work raising a child alone."

"I'm not alone," I said.

"How do you know Luke will be back?!" My father yelled.

"I know he will!" I yelled back.

"He's a demon, Elise, who knows what that child will do to you!" Father yelled.

"I don't care!" I cried.

"Please stop it," mother sighed. "We will support you, aren't we?" She looked at my father.

"Yes," he said.

Luke, please come back. I can't do this on my own. I'm scared.

That night I texted Shawn and Dulce. Told them everything. They both said they would support me and help me. Also, Shawn received a text from Rick saying his coming back with Calvin. I was glad. Maybe Calvin had news about Luke. I'll ask him once they arrive.

The day they arrived, I was in my worst moods. I have been throwing up since the morning. Thankfully it was the weekend. But still, I ate a lot and then threw it back out. But I eat things I don't usually eat, like hotdogs with mustard, I hate mustard, and it's taste. This baby was making me eat things I don't like.

"You're what?!" I expected Rick to be in shock. But he simple squealed like a girl and hugged me. The one that was in shock was Calvin. "That's bastard, he just wait 'til mom finds out, and I know uncle has him, but he will come back believe me I'll go myself and drag him by the ear!" We stared at Calvin. "What, no one leaves a pregnant woman alone."

"Aww," Rick kissed him.

"Anyways, my father doing all he can to bring him back," I smiled.

"When I found out he was a demon I was like hot hot hot," Rick smirked. "He's good in bed too when his mad."

"Eww," Shawn said. "Dude, we don't need to know that."

Dulce and I laughed.

We went for lunch after that. Rick and the others went to get food while Calvin stayed to talk to me.

"He will come back; Luke isn't one to give up easily," Calvin said.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"Even if he doesn't, dad will bring him back by the ear," I chuckled. "Don't give up hope."

"I won't," I thanked him.

"Dig in!" Rick said.

Sometimes we face some unexpected turns. But we always find a way to fix those turns.

I smiled touching my stomach. I know for sure, Luke will come back to us.
