How am I suppose to face him now? This weekend I learned more about him then I should. A demon. His a demon. I walked toward the school entrance. Someone called my name. I turned around; Luke was running toward me. He looked so ordinary, yet under all that laid a demon. A hot demon I should say. Even in that form his still breathtaking.
"Ditching me, not cool," he said.
"Was not," I extended my hand. "Book, please."
"Kiss first," I blushed, was he for reals? Sometimes I couldn't even tell when he was joking around.
"Luke please," I pout. "I need to turn it in today."
"Then you can wait," he walked past me. I followed and kept begging him.
"Okay okay," I sighed and kissed his cheek. "There now give."
He chuckled. "Nope," he kept walking.
"But I gave you a kiss," I said.
"Not the kiss I was talking about," that made me blush. Probably looked like a tomato.
"I can't," I said.
I mean I could, who wouldn't want to kiss those lips. Gosh, what was I thinking? Besides, I don't know how to kiss. It would be embarrassing.
"Fine," he handed me the book.
"Thanks," I ran toward the library. Turning it on time, like I always do. Gosh, I feel nerdy well I am thought. I have perfect attendance; my record is clean. And I have good grades in each of my classes. My god, I haven't done any bad thing, I had no life.
"Oh sorry," and I'm clumsy.
I looked at who I had bumped into, Dulce. She was the most innocent girl I had ever met. She was more of a loner then me and smart.
"It's fine, my fault," I said.
She smiled shyly.
Maybe I could be friends with her; it will be good for me. Besides, it's always good getting to know new people.
The day seems to go fast today. And hey, I wasn't complaining. When lunch finally came, I was smiling like a lunatic. What I was starving.
"It's like they don't feed you at home," Luke chuckled.
Paying for my food, I went outside. I was going to sit under the oak tree, but then I saw Dulce. I headed her way. Luke following behind.
"Hi, may we sit with you," Luke didn't even wait for her to say if it was okay. He just sat down, not giving a damn.
She merely nodded.
I sat down next to Luke nudging his side. "What?" He asked. I shook my head.
"So Dulce right?" She nodded.
"Hey your that girl I ask for help," Luke said.
"Yes," she smiled blushing.
"Thanks again," Luke smiled.
"Your welcome," Dulce kept blushing. It will be the beginning of a new friendship.
"Well hello there handsome," we all looked up to see a guy stand beside Luke winking at him. Luke immediately scooted closer to me. I held in my laugh. He pinched me. "Dulce, his shy ain't he."
"Ah, don't think he goes down that path, Rick," Dulce said. First time I heard her speak a full sentence.
"Oh well," he sat next to her. "Where's Shawn?"
Dulce shrugged.
Just then a kid sat next to Luke. "Hey Luke," he smiled. He wore all black like, Luke.
