"Lucas!" The young teen boy with his mother's eyes and his father dark hair, ran inside the house as his mother called him.
"Yes, mother?" Lucas stopped in front of his mother.
"What is this?" She pulled a pack of condoms from his backpack.
"Those aren't mine I swear," Lucas was now blushing uncomfortably. He never expected his mother to find those.
"Lucas, don't lie to me," his mother always knew when someone was lying to her. She was smart like that.
"The school gave it to us," Lucas told his mother. The school did give them out to the students.
"Ah," she sighed putting it back in his backpack. "I don't want you ever to have to use them, your 15 and well let's just leave it at that."
"Alright mother," Lucas loved his mother, but she could be a hazard sometimes. But he still adored her. His the only child. His mother went back into the kitchen.
It sucks that he was the only child. He wanted siblings, but his parents were careful. Not sure why though. But he hopes the condom will break. Or perhaps it could accidentally have a hole in it.
"What you smiling about?" His father asked coming in holding a box.
"Nothing," Lucas had a plan now. "What's in the box?"
"A, well," the box rattle. And to rattle and rattle until it slipped out of his father arms. It landed with a thud, and a white thing ran out. "That's yours, feed it."
"What?" The white think turned out to be a wolf. No, not the human turns into a wolf, but a demon wolf. They can be vicious. "It's cute." The demon wolf was a he. "Strike, I'll call you strike."
During dinner, Strike was sitting by Lucas's feet. He was still a pup. He slept a lot.
"So they gave you condoms at school?" Lucas choked on his drink. "It's okay son it's good that they are talking about it."
"Luke don't encourage him," his mother throw a piece of bread at his head. Sometimes his parents could be silly. And it's what he loved about them.
"What his going to learn about it sooner or later," his father smirked. His mother flicks his nose. "Okay, son sex is bad, there happy."
Lucas laughed at his parents. It would be a good time to sneak away.
"I finish eating," Lucas excused himself from the table and went upstairs. Strike following behind. He could hear his parents arguing, well not really but playing around.
They never seem to argue; if they do, they don't take it seriously and start laughing around.
Lucas sneaked into his parent's room and switched the packs. He knew it was wrong, but come on he needs company. Lucas doesn't want to be the only child. So here he was doing something evil and sneaky. With that done, Lucas went into his room. He laid there, Strike on his chest.
The next day he spends most of the time slacking. The school wasn't something he liked. He had friends. He had his cousin Lance Harrison, black hair and daring blue eyes, his a badass. And he had two dads. Rick and uncle Calvin. Then there's Dulce and Shawn's daughter. She's shy and smart and has her mother looks. Curly brown hair and light brown eyes her name is Irene. She's Lance girlfriend. And her parents don't even know it. How did she fall under Lance charms, I have no idea. But he treats her well. But they were lucky; they had siblings. Lucas hopes his plan worked.
And it wasn't until two months later when he notices his mother belly was a bit big. He didn't want to say anything, but he had to.
"Mom, I don't want to be mean or anything but your getting fat," maybe Lucas shouldn't have said that. If looks could kill, he would be death.
"Sweetie your seeing things," Elise wasn't sure what to say. Lately, she's been eating a lot. She had the worst feeling ever. She doesn't even want to think about it. But if she is, then it's done.
"Are you pregnant?" Lucas sounded way too happy.
"What no?!" Elise couldn't be pregnant. She and Luke have been using protection. Having Lucas was hard work. Another child would be even harder. I mean Lucas was all grown.
"Yes, you are I knew it!" Lucas smiled.
"What's all this yelling about?" Luke came in kissing his wife.
"Mom's pregnant!" Lucas yelled happily."It worked!"
"What worked?" Whoops caught red-handed.
And so he had to explain what he did. They were mad, but they eventually laughed. So now a new baby sister or brother was on the way. Lucas was happy.
It wasn't even three months before his baby sister was born. Something about demons babies growing way faster than humans babies.
"I think this was worse than Lucas," Lucas mother said holding baby Adalia Rose Harrison Peterson.
"Well at least she's healthy," his father said.
"Yeah."
Lucas held his baby sister. He will protect her. Protect her from boys. And anyone who would cause her harm.
"Oh god, it hurts to move," his mother said.
"Well yeah, you just gave birth relax," his parents were so in love.
Lucas wished someday he will be able to love someone like that. There's someone other for him. When the time comes, he will find her. For now, he will take care of his baby sister.
"Adalia my baby sister," Lucas smiled. Now he won't feel lonely. He will have someone to play with and to take care of; this is going to be fun.
It was not fun; I had to help my mother change her diapers. And it was gross.
"Oh stop complaining," Elise said. "You wanted a sibling, so here you have her. Now you need to help me take care of Adalia."
"Yes," Lucas sighed.
Well, this is my punishment for tricking my parents. But, it was worth it, Adalia is my little sister. And I will take good care of her.
We are a big happy family.
