22-Take Care

❤️Romans POV❤️
I lunged forward with my sword turning into green and blue flames. Deceit seemed to pay no mind to my attack and with the flick of his wrist I was on the ground with snakes curling themselves around my wrists and legs, restraining me. "Now Pat, I thought I told you to be quiet." Patton had multiple golden snakes wrapped all around his body. After Deceit spoke the snakes tightened their grip on poor padre. "Leave him alone!" Logan ran forward with Navy blue smoke following his every move, getting very close to Deceit before disappearing into the smoke. We couldn't see what was going on, Logan used his smoke to hide himself from Deceit to get the advantage. Virgil ran around the commotion towards Patton but red smoke came out of no where and before he had time to react, a small figure appeared and threw Virgil backwards. Logan came flying out of the navy blue smoke barely seconds after, landing on top of Virgil. I have to help! With every move I make the snakes just keep getting tighter, but I can't give up. I have to save Patton and the others. The small figure from before disappeared but the smoke still lingers, making me wonder if they truly did disappear or if they're just hiding themselves away for another attack. The thought of it alone makes me feel uneasy but it doesnt seem to bother Virgil as he goes in for an attack. Virgil only takes a few steps toward Deceit before raising his hands, making Deceit fly toward him and land on his knees. "oh Virgil, I'm not very disappointed. You are using all of your power." Virgil punched him in the jaw and we heard a crack. Deceit raised his hand to his face and smiled at Virgil. "You really think you can win this? You don't make me laugh." Virgil gave him a confused look before deceit stood with red strings that seemed to support him. I finally broke free from the snakes so Logan and I ran forward to help Virgil. "Hmm, let's see. If Logan were to become a dark side, he could be.... Insanity! Yes that doesnt fit perfectly. And Roman, insecurity perhaps? But Patton's the one I'm closer to getting, so maybe he could be..... Depression?"  with that the room went dark, the light only flashed on every few seconds.

💜Virgils POV💜
The light made it hard to focus, but I keep my mind on Patton and the others. After a few moments of searching for Deceit in the darkness, we hear a groan and the lights come back on. "Roman!" Logan and I ran over to Roman, seeing that he was stabbed with his own sword through the middle. Logan got there moments before me and deceit appeared again behind Roman and the lights went back off.  I could feel large storm clouds forming around my hands and kept moving towards the others. He can't have them! I felt myself get pushed backwards and the lights came back on to reveal that I was on the other side of the room, closer to Patton but he's not in reach. Logan and Roman were restrained and Deceit was standing behind them with Romans sword, about to stab Logan. "N-No! Wait!" the lights stopped flashing and Deceit looked up at me. "I'll trade places with Patton, just let them go!" Deceit immediately walked over to me. "what was that?" I felt the tears that were trying to fall, but I can't let him see me as weak. "I'll take Pattons place, I won't fight you. It'll happen immediately just please, let them go..." He smiled wickedly and Patton was released and thrown at Roman and Logan. The snakes that were restraining Patton slithered towards us and wrapped themselves around my ankles. "I've just got one question. Why did you choose a different trait for them when I just stay as anxiety?" Deceit laughed for a moment. "It's based on what your fear is. Yours, for example, is being a nuisance to Thomas, hurting him." Storm clouds filled the room and I turned to face Patton and the others. "Kiddo don't do it!" they were all crying and trying to get to me but the snakes wouldn't let go. "I love you guys, you made me the happiest guy in the world. Take care of each other." I turned back to Deceit and started to hum our song as a golden string took away my light. This is it.
