34- Why Does Everyone Leave Me?

I wasn't extremely worried about Virgil, so I didn't go to his room half an hour after he left. I knock on his door twice and it opens. "V-Virgil? Are you okay?" I do hear a response so I don't enter the room to check on him. What I was faced with made my heart ache and my mind race. "Virgil!" I run over to the boy laying on the floor drenched with his own blood and scoop him into my arms. "N-No! Someone help!" his cold lifeless body just sits in my arms. "Somebody! Anybody..." I hug him tight and cry into his chest. "Virgil, you silly, silly boy..." I kiss his forehead and lay him on his bed before grabbing out bandages from his bedside table. "I won't let you die on me!" I wrap his wrist quickly and start to give him CPR. "wake up, dammit!" my voice is ragged from the sobs as I repeatedly check his pulse. "Logan! Help me!" I'm unsure if he can hear me but I need him right now. After a few minutes I lay my head on his chest and cry. "Why?" I cry harder as my breath becomes more broken. I feel his chest rise so I quickly sit up to see his eyes fluttering open. "...Dee?" I throw my arms around his neck and cry into his shoulder. "I thought I'd lost you! Never do that again! I love you so, so much!" Virgil sits up and looks me in the eyes. "h-he's gone..." a look of confusion covers my face while Virgil breaks down in tears. "Who are you talking about?" I grab his hand so he looks at me. "V2! He's gone, Dee! He left me!" he wraps his arms around me and cries. "Wh-why does everyone leave me? What's wrong... With me?" his words were broken up by loud sobs so I begin to rub soothing circles into his back. "Hey, shhh, it's okay. I'm not going anywhere... No one is going to leave you." he shakes his head and looks me in the eyes. "Dee, it's me! The old Virgil! The light side, Virgil. The one you tried to get rid of." I realise whats going on and cry more. "I'm so sorry Virgil. I just wanted you back...." he looks up at me and smiles a little. "All you had to do was ask, I would never leave you Dee." all of this.... Was for nothing? All I had to do was tell him? "l-lets go home." he cries into my chest and I pick him up, carrying him to the light sides. "you can go home now Virge, you're free from me." he looks up at me and shakes his head. "you can stay, it can be your home too." Before I have the chance to respond Patton runs over and hugs Virgil. "Is he okay? What happened?" Virgil hugged him back before saying "it's me Pat, I'm back."
