I woke up to the buzzing of my alarm, I rolled over and hit the snooze button.
Cheerfully I rolled out of bed knowing today was the big day where I was going to go to Los Angeles, Californa. It has always been my dream to go there.
I ran to my bestfriends room and jumped on her, Nicole Wake up we have to get ready! We have a long drive ahead of us.
She rolled out of bed and we both ran to the kitchen.
"Jen what do you want to eat?"
"Just make me some toast and than we can start getting ready!" I smiled and sat down.
After we both ate breakfast we decided we should start getting ready.
I ran into the bathroom and washed my face, I looked at all my makeup and started putting it on. I put concealer on and some translucent powder with a soft pink lip, and some nice blush that complimented my face, than I did my eye makeup.
After I had done all my makeup I had decided to find some cute clothes to wear.
I looked through the racks of clothes and a white crop top caught my eye, I decided to go with some high waisted shorts and some white converse. I looked at my self in the mirror and was happy with what I decided to wear.
Nicole walked in and she looked so pretty, I smiled and grabbed my phone. I looked at at everything, knowing this may be the last time I see my home.
I texted Jade telling her I was leaving now and that I would send her videos and pictures of everything I see all around me.
From Me: Nicole and I are about to leave for Cali☀️. I'm gonna miss you and everybody else so much.
From Jade💓: We're gonna miss ya'll so much, you might get some surprise visits from us😉.
From Me: You better text me everyday and keep me updated on things down here😂.
From Jade💓: Well you better text me and show me everything down there in Cali🙈. + Show me all the cute boys you see😏.
From Me: You're crazy😂 but that's why I love ya💓. I'm gonna miss my crazy bestfriend😔.
From Jade💓: Well I'm gonna miss my craziest bestfriend even more😔. We better Text, Call, Oovoo, Facetime, and any other way where I can see you❤️.
From Me: I wouldn't forget to ever do those things💓. Well I gotta go now, ilysm💘.
From Jade💓: byee😋, ilysmt❤️.
I really didn't wanna leave Jade or any of my friends behind, it seemed hard to make new friends in a place I've never been too. What if the people there were a lot different than the ones here?
So many different things were going through my mind as I thought of how different things may be. This place is my home and I felt like I was abandoning it.
All the good and bad memories were here. I didn't really mind the Bad ones but it was just hard to leave the good ones, they had all the people I loved and the things that mattered to me most.
Hopefully California will let me know different, I looked around putting each memory together with everything I saw around me. My eyes closing and my thoughts catching up with me.
I felt Nicole tap on my shoulder lightly.
"Are you okay?" She smiled awkwardly.
"Oh um sorry I was just thinking." I put on a fake smile and folded my arms.
We grabbed our bags and turned off all the light. I looked back still letting the memories flow through my mind as I smiled remembering every bit of it. Nicole and I walked out the door locking it and walking to the car.
I knew that this was goodbye for now but not forever.❤️
