As the night starts to fall, we decide to take a ride on the high wheel. That's the only height thing I agree to do, and it's only because we'll be stucked into closes and solid glass bubbles.
Harry and Thomas did some rollercoaster this afternoon but I can't get myself to trust my life to some poorly secured train lunch at high speed on shaky rails... I had my fun on the carousel in the meantime, riding my unicorn! Okay, okay, it was a horse. Girls can have dreams, can't they?
Anyway, now I find myself sitting between the boys. Harry wants to take a selfie so they both squeeze against me to fit in the frame.
Thomas is not that bad to be around. I would be lying if I said otherwise. He's a bit slow sometimes, you know, not very smart, but it's not worst that Harry so I guess that's okay. They make a good pair those two actually! He is really funny too and I can see he tries so hard to be friendly. He tried to team up with me against Harry when we were playing some arcade games but I didn't really let him...Maybe I should have?
But I still wish he wasn't there so I could be alone with Harry...Especially here and now because kissing him on top of the high wheel, with the city lights under us, would be so romantic.
He puts his arm around my shoulders and I lean a little against him, listening to him and Thomas debating on who would be the most efficient in climbing the wheel between Spiderman and Batman. Which is a never ending debate 'cause come on, seriously, what's the difference between shooting a web or a grappin?
-- Nightcrawler, I say and they both stare at me puzzled. Nightcrawler would be the fastest. He can teleport wherever he wants, I add with a shrug.
-- She's got a point, nods Thomas.
-- Oh no, don't you try getting good with her by siding with her, smiks Harry.
He puts his hand on my thigh and that's when I stop listening. I want to kiss him so bad!
I don't know if Thomas did it on purpose or not but he turns his head to watch the view. Harry sizes my face with his other hand and lift it up. We finally share a sweet kiss and I feel butterflies in my belly. He is squeezing my thigh and then he start sliding up under my dress. He licks my lips but I push him away and grab his hand. Thomas is right next to us!
He scowls but I keep him firmly away from me. We're about to get down anyway...
When we are back on the ground, we buy one last beer and go sit by the edge of the pier, our legs dangling above the water. I love this place at night, it's beautiful with the lights reflecting on the dark water.
We drink in silence, just enjoying the view for a while. Harry's hand is back on my thigh and I have to admit I quite like it. I feel like I belong to him...
-- We should have take some camping stuff and spend the night here, Thomas says looking in the far with dreamy eyes.
-- Yeah well, I don't know if you notices but her car isn't really meant for camping, Harry chuckles. I don't know how she fits her suitcase in the trunk!
-- Right...
-- My car is perfectly big enough, I say, thank you! But it's getting late, and chilly, maybe we should head back. I never drove by night alone...
-- You won't be alone, objects Harry
-- I mean I'm the only one who can drive. And don't give me that look, you are not driving my car without your license, I add towards Harry.
-- Tom is 17, he says.
-- D'you have your license, I ask him.
His mouth says yes but his eyes says no. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have let him drive my car even if he had it anyway...
-- Nope, not happening, I say getting up. Come on guys, before I get too tired.
