Death Note: shinigami

Kira meets Amanda

While Kira was in the Shinigami Realm, he would every once in awhile peer into an orb that allows you see into the human world. He noticed Near's plan and realized what he was doing but he never saw Near's face. Kira thought about what to do but then he remembered what he did awhile back ago. He remembered that his plan was coming up and he didn't want to miss it. After a long search for the portal, they found it in a remote spot in the desert.

Both Kira and Ryuk jumped down through the portal and headed back to the human world. This time, they landed in Tokyo, Japan. Kira slammed face down on the ground again while Ryuk used his wings to land gracefully. "Ryuk! Stop showing off it's not funny! Kira yells in pain. Ryuk stops flapping his wings everywhere.

Luckily for Kira, they came back in the human world just in time to see his plan unfold. He headed back to the same crosswalk where he saw another shinigami in a large crowd of people. Back then, he wrote down everyone's name on a sheet of paper. He didn't write them in his death note at the time. However, later that day, he wrote all of their names in the death note with the details of their death. He knew that he couldn't imagine all of their faces but he knew who the second Kira was.

Their name was Amanda Banks. Her name sounded American so she was most likely visiting Japan. He already wrote her name in the death note but he wrote her time of death to be 3 years from now. Since he had 3 years worth of details to write in between that, he only wrote a couple things to manipulate her at certain times throughout what's left of her life.

On January of 2015, everybody who was on that crosswalk walked on that very same crosswalk today. Amongst them was Amanda. She was on her phone while she was crossing the pedestrian walk. All of the sudden, some crazy druggie ran the light and killed all of the pedestrians on the crosswalk except Amanda. Amanda jumped out of the way and made it out in time before the car hit everyone.

She turned around and saw blood splattered everywhere. The car went haywire and ran into another car. Both of the drivers died right then and there. Amanda got up and walked onto the sidewalk and saw a letter on the ground. She picked it up and read the letter.

The letter

This is Kira. I know you're an owner of the death note. Everything that happened just now was caused by me. Now, I give you a choice. You can choose to be my assistant in my efforts to purge this world of evil or you can die right now. Turn around, I'm right behind you.

She slowly turned around and dropped the note. She was appalled by the sight of what she's witnessed. She saw two tall figures that seemed inhuman. They both had disgusting faces that seemed somewhat disfigured but she understood that they were both shinigami. She didn't exactly know what to say to them so there was a moment of silence until she asked them "So are you both Kira?" "No, it's just me. This guy next to me is just going to be my witness for my reign as the God of this world." Kira answered.

"So I can either help you or die huh?" She asked. "Yes. So what's your answer?" Kira asked her. "Hmm............. Yes, I'll help you." She sighed. "Well, that's good. For now, I want to know your address and where your death note is." He asks. "How do you know I have a death note?" She asks. "I can see your shinigami behind you." He pointed behind her. She looked at her shinigami talking to Kira. "Oh well. My death note is not on me right now. It's at my house, here's my address." She gave him her address. "I'll see you again." Kira grinned.

Kira and Ryuk depart as the cops arrive. The Japanese police force arrived and asked Amanda questions about what happened because she was a witness/victim. She told the cops that some random guy ran the red light, running the pedestrians over and killing himself as well. After she explained what happened, she was released. For the time being, Kira and Amanda went their ways. However, they're destined to meet again. The hour of Kira and Near's showdown was drawing near.
