Do you remember this?
She still looked familiar.
From the first night he saw her she looked like someone from his past.
Her rosy red cheeks.
Her long brunette hair.
Her pumped red lips.
And those mesmerizing green eyes. He had seen them before. He just couldn't remember where.
And now......
Grant paced around his office trying to forget the girl his son was bent on marrying. He knew he couldn't let that happen. She was turning his son into a weak love sick puppy who couldn't run his own life let alone a billion dollar company. It would be hard to break them apart but it had to be done. He needed to save his son's life even if it meant permanently eliminating her.
The only problem was he wasn't sure he could. It wasn't because he was scared and he definitely didn't care how immoral it would be to get rid of her. The problem was he didn't want to. She had crossed his mind a lot since he saw her in that hospital bed. Everything about her read familiar. He couldn't quite figure out when but he knew they met once before. Or maybe he met someone who looked exactly like her. Did she have a twin sister or a doppelganger?
He hated her for invading his thoughts. First, she ruined his son now she was ruining him. No more! Grant grabbed his jacket from off the hook and stormed out of his office. He needed to get close to this woman and figure out who she was. Its time he paid her a visit.

Marilyn danced around the kitchen humming a tune in her head. Her life was absolutely perfect. After Lucas left for work this morning she had spent the day fixing up their wonderful new home. Lucas advised her not to leave the house until she had adequate protection from the press and other "Judd Kenton’s". So he had her clothes and belongings delivered to the manor from her old apartment. She had to get use to the fact that Lucas was a very known person and with all the craziness going on he was also a wanted man.
She was busy unpacking suitcases and packing her things away all morning. Now she and Jeof were making a Paris inspired meal that she was sure Lucas would love.
Jeof was out in the greenhouse picking fresh parsley and Marilyn was supervising the cooking chicken. She moved from over the stove and bent down to open the oven. In the process her sleeve had rolled up a mere inch and she saw the bruises that the evil man, with the scare above his eye, gave her. She quickly closed the oven and pulled back down her sleeves. She was trying to forget everything that happened and those scars were a deadly reminder of what had happened in the past.
Thank God Lucas hadn't noticed them. It wasn't because he wasn't observant enough, he was. She just made sure to always wear long sleeves around him. And when they made love she made sure her hands were buried deep into the sheets. It wasn't easy remembering to cover her wrists every second of every day but she managed and thankfully Lucas did not question her sudden interest in long sleeves.
"I got ze parsley and a few green peppers." Jeof said coming through the double doors to the kitchen. Marilyn looked over her shoulder and saw Jeof holding a sack with what she assumed was the vegetables.
"Great! Um, do you mind finishing up here? I need to wash up. Lucas will be here any minute."
"Not a problem madam! I'm here to serve you." He said shoo-ing her off with his hands. "Go! Go!"
