Passing Notes- Gadreel x Reader

Okay, so Gadreel is a bit hard for me to write for. I don't know his character as well as the others, so sorry if this is really bad.

The teacher stood at the front of the room, droning on about some war that happened hundreds of years ago. Normally you would be paying attention and gladly participating, but it had been a long day. All you wanted to do was sleep.

Gadreel sat beside you at the table, and he was feeling the same. But he never really took class seriously, so it wasn't such a surprise. He was one of your best friends, but you wished it could be more than that. Of course, Gadreel didn't know that. 

Gadreel discreetly passed you a note while the teacher was facing the board. You took it from him and opened it up. 
God, could this be any more annoying?
You quickly scribbled a reply and passed it back to him. 

You and Gadreel did this for the rest of class, writing jokes and making fun of the teacher without getting caught. About ten minutes before class, he passed you a note that you'd never forget.
I need to tell you something. 
You didn't think much of it. 
Sure, what is it? :)
I like you. As in, more than a friend. 

After reading the message, you turned to look at him. Gadreel avoided eye contact by watching the teacher write on the board. You were delighted at the confession! He felt the same way! Quickly, you wrote a reply and set it on his desk. 

After class, the two of you met up in front of your locker. You smiled at him and he returned the gesture. "So, would you like to go to the movies with me on Friday?" Gadreel asked shyly. 
"Of course! Sounds like fun!" You kissed his cheek and headed down the hallway to your next class, leaving him standing dumbfounded.
