Insidious- Kevin x Reader

"Come on! We're gonna miss the movie!" Kevin called up the stairs. You were in your room, hurrying to change into something more decent than your hunting clothes. You'd accidentally forgotten about your date with Kevin until the last minute while out hunting with the Winchester brothers. 

You walked down the steps and Kevin's breath hitched. "You look beautiful." He told you.
"Thanks." You were wearing your nicest pair of skinny jeans, a green button up with a black tank top underneath, and black high top Converse. You'd washed and dried your hair and a feather necklace lay against your chest. 
"Alright, let's go." You and Kevin walked out to your car, a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS. It could get annoying having Dean drive you everywhere since he didn't let anyone else drive his baby, so Bobby had let you have the Chevelle. 

Having made it just in time, the movie was starting as you sat down in the last row of the movie theater. Kevin had decided that he wanted to see Insidious. You'd read online that it was pretty scary, not that it would bother you. After all, you were a hunter. It was Kevin you were worried about. He was still pretty new to this way of life, and you knew the movie would freak him out. But he insisted on seeing it, so you gave up trying to convince him to see something else.

Within the first half hour of the movie, Kevin was hiding his face in the crook of your neck. You had to admit, it was kind of funny seeing him like this, but still, you felt bad for him. "We can leave if you want." You offered. You'd just finish the movie some other time, probably when it came out on DVD. You'd probably be able to get Sam or Dean to watch it with you. 
"Nah, that's okay. I wanna stay." He was trying to be as much of a man as he could, but was failing miserably. You knew he was scared.

"Maybe this will help..." You took his face in your hands and leaned in to kiss him. Instantly he relaxed, and kissed you back softly. When you pulled away, both of you had smiles on your faces. 
"Um... Thanks. Could we do that again?" 

You and Kevin spent the rest of the movie placing soft kisses on each other's mouths. You'd completely forgotten about the movie until you heard the music from the credits.

"Maybe scary movies aren't that bad..." You heard Kevin whisper to himself and smiled. Yeah, you could agree with that.

I'm so sorry that this was crap! I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. School has been so time-consuming lately, and I feel really bad for not writing.
