It had been a long day of hunting. The demon had caught you from behind, and luckily Cas was there to smite the thing, but not before leaving you with quite a few cuts, bruises, and a possible concussion. When you got back to the bunker, you discovered that all the books you'd so carefully sorted and stacked on your dresser now lay sprawled out on the floor. Just to make it worse, it was that time of the month. You covered yourself with blankets and lay on your bed, letting the music from your radio drown out the world.

A knock sounded at the door, and it opened to reveal Dean. "Are you okay? You've been in here for a while." He asked softly. Earlier you had told him off after letting your frustration get the best of you. Dean was probably afraid that you would yell at him again.
"Just go away, Dean. I don't want anything to do with the world right now." You wanted him to leave you alone to wallow in a pool of self-pity, but he wasn't having it.
"C'mon, what's bothering you? You know you can tell me." He walked over and sat next to you on the bed. He invited you to lean on him, and you did.
"Nothing has gone in my favor the past couple days. The demon son of a bitch got ahold of me, my books fell all over the place, and to top it all off, Mother Nature hates me." Dean's eyes widened at the last one, but he went back to normal in a split second.

"Don't worry, okay? We all have those kinds of days. The ones where it feels as if the whole world was against us. But it goes away. Before you know it, you'll be laughing and having fun again. Don't let it discourage you." Just as Dean finished, 'Every Storm Runs Out of Rain' by Gary Allan came on the radio. The perfect song for what Dean was trying to tell you. "Listen. I have the perfect remedy for this. I'll be right back." He got up to get something from another room. You missed the warmth already.

"Here we go." Dean came back into the room carrying a tub of ice cream and a spoon for each of you. You sat up and laughed.
"So your remedy to make me feel better is to make me fat?" He grinned and opened the ice cream, giving it to you for the first spoonful.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier." You apologized. Dean shook his head and responded with a mouth full of ice cream.
"It's no big deal." You both sat there for a while, enjoying each other's company and blocking out the rest of the world.
