You laid on the couch, watching the television. Dean was asleep in his room with Cas, and Sam was in the library doing his own thing. The only sound came from the TV and occasional loud snore from Dean. Suddenly you felt a bit lonely.
"What are you watching?" Sam leaned on the back of the couch, intently watching the screen. He scared the living daylights out of you by sneaking up on you.
"The Vampire Diaries. You wanna join?" You asked, praying that he'd say yes. You and Sam hadn't had any alone time in weeks.
"Sure." He laid down next to you and put his arm around your waist. You snuggled into him and relaxed.
"I miss this." Sam admitted out of nowhere. "Being able to relax with you, not having to worry about the apocalypse, leviathans, or closing the gates of Hell. It's nice." You looked up at him with a soft expression and smiled. He looked vulnerable, and to put it frankly, adorable.
"I love you." You whispered. Sam smiled and kissed you softly on the lips.
"I love you too."
