It had been a long week. Hunting had really worn you out this time, and you felt bad because it was you and Gabriel's one year anniversary. You walked through the door to the apartment you shared with the archangel. 

"Hey, how was the hunt?" Gabe said from the living room. You had tried not to show him just how tired you were all week, which cost you some much-needed sleep. This lack of sleep made the hunt even worse. 
"It was easy. Just your average ghost." Nope. This ghost had been a hell of a lot stronger than any other you'd taken care of. 
"Well, that's good." You set your duffel bag down on the kitchen table and walked over to the couch to sit with Gabe. You leaned your head on his shoulder and instantly fell asleep.

You woke up in the early morning, around 3 o'clock. Gabe wasn't sitting on the couch, and you started to slightly panick. Then you saw the door to the balcony was open. You got up and walked onto the balcony, where you found Gabe sitting in one of the chairs. He looked at you once he heard your footsteps. You sat in the chair next to him.

"That hunt wasn't as easy as you told me it was, was it?" You silently shook your head. "I noticed how exhausted you've been this past week. (Y/N), you can tell me anything, remember that. No matter what it is." 
"Sorry, Gabe. I just wanted to have a great anniversary with you, but instead I slept through it." He grabbed your hand and smiled at you. 
"It's never too late to celebrate our anniversary. Look up at the sky." You looked up and saw bright streaks flash every few seconds. Shooting stars.
"That's why you were out here! It's beautiful..."
"So are you." Gabe said with a smirk.
"You are so corny!" You yelled at him, playfully smacking his arm while laughing. He pulled two lollipops out of thin air using his angel mojo and handed one to you. 

You and Gabe sat out on the balcony until it got too light to see the stars. To this day, it is your favourite moment you've ever had with him.
