It was a sunny morning. Ms Joke was braiding her daughter's hair and humming to a song.
She didn't know about the accident that happened the other day and would never find out about it.
Today was Hitomi's fifth birthday and she was feeling really excited.
She could be her usual self now since her mother got her a support item that canceled her quirk.
When the hero finished the braid Hitomi jumped off the sofa and put the item on her ear. She took the invitations for her birthday party from the table next to her and put them in her little backpack.
"I'm five now!" She squealed happily before continuing "9 more years to go!"
"What are you going to do at 14?" Her mother tilted her head at the little overexcited girl
"Go to UA! Dadzawa will teach me to become a pro hero and I will become the Number 2 hero in the world!" She jumped and made a victory pose in the middle of their livingroom
"Don't you want to be the number 1 hero?"
"No, maybe someone else wants to be number 1" she said making a serious face
"Oh, alright" her mother smiled "Let's go"
Time skip
"Hello there!" Hitomi greeted her friend "Do you know what day it is?" She smirked
"No."
"It's mah birthday! I'm five now! I'm older than you now" she grinned
"Oh yeah Knock, knock!" She began her boring joke
"Who's there?"
"Art!"
"Art who?"
"Art you going to my birthday party?" She poked his arm with her elbow and raised her eyebrow
"Yes!"
Time skip
The doorbell rang, making Hitomi jump out of bed and run with all her might to the door
"My first guest!" She exclaimed happily "Can I open the door?" She turned to her mother
"Yeah open it"
The little girl got on her tippi toes and opened the door.
Behind the door she saw Dadzawa and the student she had talked to during her 'trip' to UA.
"Helloo" he greeted
Hitomi stared at the soon to be hero and blushed out of embarrassment. She got lost twice and was a klutz and now the hero in training knew that.
Eraserhead walked in and patted her head as he walked past her leaving her in awkward silence with the boy
After a few minutes of standing in front of the door and staring blankly at the ground Ms Joke came and invited the student inside.
Hitomi felt weird. She found this situation quite embarrassing and felt ashamed that she got lost so many times on her visit to the school
How do you lose two adults and get ready to start a fight with a backpack? Well Hitomi didn't know either, but it happened
"I never introduced myself, I'm Adachi Akio" he tried to get the girl to relax a bit
"I'm Hitomi!" She smiled "I'm turning five today!"
"Really? You're getting old" he joked
"Well I'm still little!" She scratched her neck
"So did you go somewhere for your birthday? I mean, besides this party" he asked the little girl
"Well Dadzawa took me on a picnic" she put her index finger on her chin
"What? You did?" Ms Joke asked Aizawa in a whisper
"No?" He answered confused "What is she talking about?"
"Really?" Akio tilted his head
He found Eraserhead really scary and couldn't believe he had a soft side to him
"Yeah, we played frisbee! At one moment I wondered to myself why the frisbee was getting bigger... Then it hit me"
"So why was it getting bigger?"
"It hit me."
"Oh.. I thought in a realizing why way..
...Really?"
"No. I just said that for the joke.. There was no picnic.."
"Oh.. Okay then.."
"Knock, knock"
"Huh? Oh! Who's there?" The boy asked, still confused with the previous joke
"Tank" the girl looked in the boys eyes
"Tank who?"
"You're welcome" Hitomi tried to hold in her laugh, but failed
"You like your knock, knock jokes, huh?"
He asked her and she nodded
"Do you know-" she wanted to ask the blond boy something, but the doorbell interrupted her
Without thinking she jumped up and leaped into the door, hitting herself in the process
"Clumsy" her mother smiles as she helps her up
"It must be Iida!" She said holding her nose with her hands
Her mother opened the door, but nobody was there.
"Are you sure you heard the doorbell?" She asked the little girl
"Yes, I'm a hundred percent sure"
"Maybe you just imagined it"
"Huh?"
