"A quirk assessment test? But you know all about my quirk" The seafoam green haired girl tilted her head
"Just go" her fathe*cough* umm *cough* *cough* uncle said
"And take the gym uniform" he sighed at the girl
Hitomi wasn't the little girl with a big fantasy anymore. She was a teenager with a big fantasy
According to Aizawa, her mother was annoying most of the time.
Hitomi wasn't annoying, but she was as lazy as he was. There was no doubt she was going to sleep in class and that annoyed him
Groaning, Hitomi took the gym uniform and lazily walked to the school changing rooms
The girls there introduced themselves and started talking about what they're going to do
"It's just a quirk assessment test" Hitomi told them as she walked in the changing room. She wasn't listening in their conversation, they were just talking loud
"Oh and I'm Fukukado Hitomi" she smiled and winked "I'm cool like that"
Days earlier, Emi told her lazy, not so lazy daughter to leave a good impression on her classmates.
"Be cool and mysterious, but also friendly! Don't forget to have fun though"
"Yeah, I got this" Hitomi smiled before going back to admiring her Elect merch
"Hi! I'm Mina Ashido!" A girl with pink hair and skin jumped in front of Hitomi
"I'm Uraraka Ochaco" another girl approached her
"Hi" a girl with short, blue hair waved
"Let's go! We'll be late!" The pink girl, Mina grabbed Hitomi's hand and rushed through the door
"O-Oh okay" Hitomi awkwardly smiled
Time skip
"Yeah! Not getting expelled!" Hitomi cheered
"Weren't you third in the recommended? How did you manage to score second to lowest?" A classmate wondered
"Well you see... My quirk makes people laugh"
"Huh?"
"I managed to get third place by scoring highest on the written. As for the physical part... I got lucky I guess?" The green haired girl scratched her head awkwardly
"That makes sense... Kinda?"
"I guess"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Yeah I gotta go... Do something?"
"Yeah go ahead" Hitomi awkwardly smiled
'that was cool, right?' she thought
Time skip
"How did your first day go?" Ryuu looked at his childhood best friend
They were walking to Ai's home as usual. They always hanged around her place since her mother was chill and didn't interrupt them every five seconds and didn't crack jokes all the time
"Awkward.. I didn't even get the chance to crack a joke-" Hitomi sighed before taking out a bag of chips
"Lucky bastards" the lizard boy muttered
"Huh? What's wrong with my jokes?" She tilted her head annoyed
"Heey.. Are those chips?" He smiled
"Avoiding my question, huh? And, no. I'm not giving you any until you tell me what's wrong with my jokes" Hitomi puffed her cheeks
"There's nothing wrong with them.. It's just.. the knock knock jokes... They- they- the... Just no"
He sighed before poking the seafoam green haired girl's cheek
"Oh" she gave him the bag of chips before stopping and putting her head on a nearby tree and dramatically crying
Awkwardly, Ryuu got closer to her and poked her back
"I don't know how you got in drama club in fifth grade" he laughed in a teasing manner "you fucking suck at acting"
"Waaah you jerk!" Hitomi smiled at him
Not from far away, they heard a train
Ryuu looked at his phone
"..." Hitomi stood there silently
"We just missed our train" The scaled boy looked at his friend
"Umm... My mom can take us to Ai-"
"Yeah that was the plan"
"Huh?" Hitomi tilted her head
"You see... We missed the fucking train that would take us to your fucking place so mom would take us to Ai's place" Ryuu massaged his temples to calm down a bit
"Ohhhhh.. You could've told me that"
"I told you before we left the damn school"
"Oh-"
"Yeah"
"So what now?" She tilted her head
"I don't know" Ryuu sat on the ground
They heard explosions not so far away
"Oh no" The boy looked at his friend with a look that displayed his clear displeasure
"OI! BAKUBRO!"
"God damnit"
"STOP CALLING ME THAT KNOCK KNOCK" a boy with ash blond hair and anger issues yelled back to the not-so-funny-girl
"NEVER! BY THE WAY! WE'RE STAYING AT YOUR PLACE FOR AN HOUR OR SO!"
"FUCK OFF!" He yelled
"NO THANKS! WHERE ARE YOU ANYWAYS?"
"NOT TELLING YOU! BYE"
"Oh dear God" Ryuu muttered as his friendly friend and not so friendly friend bickered back and forth
"NOOO! WAIT! I-"
He hid his face from the embarrassment
"Soo like... What now?" The girl sat next to the embarrassed boy
"I guess wait for Dadzawa" the lizard boy said
When Hitomi and Ryuu became friends they started hanging out more without Ai since she was always so busy and after some time passed they started introducing each other like siblings.
Ryuu grew up without a father, so Aizawa became a father figure to him as well. After years passed he started calling Emi, mom, and Hitomi started calling his mother, mom.
They even lived on the same street and soon Hitomi and Emi moved in the same building as Ryuu and his mother. They unknowingly became some sort of a family
"Do you remember when he finishes with work?"
"Uhh.. four pm?"
"I dunno"
"Let's just... Wait"
"Uhh what?"
"Why don't we wait at the school?"
"Remember the last time we got lost or missed a train when visiting UA?"
"Oh.. yeah"
And thus, they sat and talked untill Dadzawa arrived... They didn't get to go to Ai's place
