22- Rescue training

"Um, what are we doing, exactly?" A black haired boy with weird elbows asked

Hitomi missed two days of school and didn't know most of the names of her classmates. Their quirks were even bigger mysteries

"Preparing you for disaster relief, from fires to floods. It's rescue training"

"Wohooo!" Hitomi raised her hands

"It's up to each of you whether or not you wear you costumes"

Hitomi stopped listening at this point. She already knew all these things because she had spent way too much time at UA while growing up

"I still don't know what my hero suit looks like" she muttered to herself

"Hey Hitomi! We're going to the changing rooms" Mina told her friend

Hitomi took her costume

"I still haven't seen my costume.. My mom gave the info when making the costume"

"I'm sure it's fine! Your mother designed it! It shouldn't be too bad" Mina cheered her up

"Yeah! Why should I doubt mom?"

They went into the changing rooms and when Hitomi took out her costume a note fell from it

"What's that?" Mina tilted her head

"It's a letter from Ryuu.."

"Who's Ryuu?"

"My brother.. It says that mom told him to design it since she didn't know what us 'youngsters' liked to wear" Hitomi sighed

"You have a brother?"

"And a cat"

"Ok?" The girl with pink skin said confused

"Let's see this bad boy hehe" Hitomi smiled

She was sure it was going to be great

After all, Ryuu was in the department of support and had good fashion sense. But there was still something she was worried about

Ryuu liked pranking her.

When they were younger he told her it's pajama day at school and got Hitomi in detention. One time at a sleepover he made up a scary story and scared the girl so much that she didn't sleep for a week. He felt bad and stayed with her, but it was his fault to begin with.

He did more pranks and Hitomi bothered him with more knock knock jokes

She hesitantly looked at the costume and smiled when she saw it

"He has a soul after all" she grinned

The costume was a white full bodysuit with a black belt that had smiley face smoke bombs. The costume also had black gloves, black boots and a black choker. There was a big, black 'S' with green outlines in the middle of her chest

"I seriously thought he was going to design a trash can suit" Hitomi smiled and wiped a tear dramatically

"Your brother sounds like a prankster haha" Mina smiled at the girl

"Well his pranks suck so he should try something else " Hitomi laughed with her pink haired friend

Time skip

Hitomi was sitting at the front of the bus next to Mina

While Bakugou was getting bullied for his personality Hitomi got a 'great' idea

"Hey Mina~" she smiled

"What's up?" The girl turned to face her

"Are you single? Cause I can set you up with someone"

"Oh.. umm.. no need! I'm fine haha" the girl awkwardly laughed

"You sure?"

"Yeah" she smiled "..But who were you trying to set me up with?" Mina tilted her head

Hitomi sighed and took out her necklace. She opened it and showed a picture of her with Ryuu and the cat they found

Ryuu was standing with his arms crossed while Hitomi was behind him making a peace sign. The black cat they found was sitting on Ryuu's head and smiling

It's like the cat knew about the picture

"My brother" Hitomi sighed again "He was begging me to set him up with a pretty girl"

Hitomi had a small flashback of her begging him to set him up and him turning the offer down

"Oh.. Really?" The girl tilted her head

"No... But he was thinking that" the green haired girl tapped her head

"We're here"

Aizawa interrupted their conversation that was becoming weirder and more awkward
