21- Skipping class with Ryuu

"But mooom!" Hitomi whined "I'm still not prepared for school! That stalking thing scarred me!" She dramatically fell on her bed

"*Sigh* I'm in a hurry. Just do what you think is right and we'll discuss your choice later" her mother dashed out of the apartment

Before the front door closed a smug and handsome boy walked in

"I'm skipping" he smiled before plopping down on her sofa and taking some cookies

"Yeahhh same" she sat next to him and started going through social media

"Where's the remote?" Ryuu asked with a mouth full with cookies

"I dunno.. check if you're sitting on it"

"I'm not sitting on it"

"Did you check"

"No, but I know that I'm not sitting on it"

"Well how do you know?"

"I can't feel it under me. Are you sitting on it"

"No"

"I don't trust you"

"But I'm not"

"Stand up so I can check"

They started bickering and after 10 minutes of pointless arguing Ryuu got an idea

"Ok we'll get up at the same time and see where the remote is"

"Fine! But you owe me an ice cream if it wasn't under me"

"Deal" he smirked

They got up at the same time and the remote was in between them

"You owe me ice cream" Ryuu stated

"What?! It wasn't under me!" Hitomi angrily stomped

"It wasn't under me either. It was between us. But. It's more on your side"

"That doesn't even make sense"

"Neither does our life"

"What's up with you, Ryuu? You're not swearing anymore... I'm concerned for you, brother"

"Well, sister. That friend of yours, Bakugou... I don't want people to associate me with him because of the similar way we talk" The black haired boy sighed

"Wow! That's so brave!"

"You're talking like I'm dying"

"Well it's just surprising" Hitomi shrugged "Come on! The ice cream is waiting for us!"

"Yeah!" Ryuu cheered

Time skip

"I've noticed...." Ryuu said before he took a bite from the big ice cream sundae in front of him

"What?" Hitomi tilted her head

"You've stopped saying knock knock jokes"

"I didn't stop.. it's just.." Hitomi put down her spoon

"Hey! If we don't finish this in 20 minutes it's not free!"

"But we need ten minutes! Let me speak dude"

"Dude?"

"Yeah.. well someone said that my knock knock jokes are a bit too much!"

"It was a joke.."

"Oh... Well as apology for such a cruel joke I want you to let me find you a giirllfriiiend-"

"Go to hell"

They started laughing and continued eating the sundae

Time Skip

"17 minutes.. I'm kinda disappointed"

"Yeah"

They sat down on the nearest bench and Hitomi gasped

Ryuu looked at her confused

"I still haven't told you about that stalker dude!"

"Stalker dud- Did you set him up with Ai? You find the weirdest guys for her"

"Hahaha.. ha ha?"

"Oh god" he sighed, "I wonder what goes through your head man, a Stalker?? Really??"

"Uhh... So! Yesterday I didn't-"

Meow

"Did you hear that?"

"Yeah! A cat!"

Meow Meow

The boy got up to find the cat. He and Hitomi had a heroic scene before the cat meowed again

"Uhh.. The cat's behind the bench"

"Oh.. Well this is awkward"

"Not as awkward as our middle school graduation photos"

"I mean, yeah"

Hitomi got up and approached the cat. The cat had black fur, and it's black eyes sparkled at the sun

"Hey Ryuu! This cat looks a lot like you!"

"Really?" Ryuu got closer and inspected the cat with his big, black eyes "yeahhh I don't see it"

"Look at it's fur and eyes"

"...deeemoooniiic..??" He tilted his head

"No you idiot!" The green haired girl hit him in the head

"Ouch!"

"Does it have an owner?" Hitomi tilted her head as she took the cat in her hands like a baby

"I don't think so.. There's no collar"

"So it's a street cat...."

"Hitomi, no"

"I mean" she turned her head to face him and smiled

"Hitomi, No!"

"But"

"NO!"

Time skip, 3 minutes later

"Yeah so can we adopt it?" Ryuu asked his mother

"You're finally interested in something other that those games! Oh! I'm tearing up! Take him! We'll take him" his mother cried on the phone

"Okay okay! I'll take him! Chill"

"Don't tell your mother to chill" she scolded him "Also am I on speaker?"

"Yeah! Hi Mom!" Hitomi awkwardly waved at the phone

"She can't see you"

"Oh yeah"

"Well I've got to go back to work! Treat the kitty nicely! Wait aren't you in sch-"

"Yeah thanks Mom!" Ryuu yelled

"You're the best!" Hitomi smiled

"We love you! Bye!" The both yelled at the phone before hanging up

"We have a cat!" Hitomi shouted happily

"So what now?"

"Let's take a picture of us with the cat and put it in those heart necklaces"

"Fine" Ryuu sighed

"What are we gonna name him?" Hitomi jumped in front of the boy and the cat

"I dunno"
