Regina: so we're leaving tomorrow for my parents to spend Christmas there. I can't rap your gift I got you and take it with us. Want to come over and open it now? Xx

Emma: you got me a present? I didn't think you would xx

Regina: of course I did. Your not just someone I have sex with. Your my friend xx

Emma: haha thanks. I'll bring yours as well then xx

Regina: you got me one even though you thought I wasn't getting you one? Xx

Emma: yep. See you soon xx

Regina giggled at the message as she placed her phone down next to her on the bed. She took the covers off her body before climbing out of the bed. Regina got dressed into a pair of tight skinny jeans and a vest top. She heads downstairs with her phone and goes to the kitchen. Meanwhile Emma was in her dorm room getting changed to leave. Lily was packing all her things up to head home.

"So where you spending Christmas then em? I know your not going home" Lily asked looking across at her roommate.

"This girl I'm sorta seeing but sorta not seeing invited me to hers for Christmas. How about you" Emma replied trying to hide it's Regina's.

"Awe that's cute. I'm going home but had to hide all my drugs here before hand. If they knew I was a stoner I'd be dead" she laughed lifting her mattress up and revealing bags of weed and some other stuff.

"Have fun there" Emma replied with a chuckle as she slipped her shoes on. She pulled her leather jacket over her shoulders and lighted her bag up before walking to the door. "See you in the new year" the blonde waved as she walked out the room.

"Bye" Lily shouts out quick before the door shut.

Emma left the building and started walking towards Regina's house. It wasn't a far walked so she didn't mind. Since she couldn't drive she didn't have a choice. Emma walked for 10-15 minutes before arriving at Regina's house. She went over and knocked on the door. The brunette pulled it open with a smile.

"Hey" Regina said moving out the way to let Emma in.

"Your in a good mood" Emma acknowledged as she smiled down happily at the teacher.

"It's Christmas. Why wouldn't I be? Plus I'm excited to give you your gift" Regina replied hugging Emma tight.

"Well me first. Sorry it's not the best. I didn't have much money this month" Emma softly apologised as she took a rapped up gift out her bag. It was a thin rectangular box shape. "I hope you like it" Emma nervously said as she gave it to Regina.

"It's the thought that counts not the price" regina chuckled while taking it.

She pulled the wrapping paper off and saw it was a plain cardboard box. She opened it and pulled out what appeared to be a heavy glass bottle. Regina read the label to see it said 1979 scotch. Regina's face looked a little shocked at it with a slight smile.

"I remember from that day I got you the Carrie book you came to the bar and ordered that. Saying it was your favourite. I hope it still is" Emma shyly informs but regina already knew it was that scotch.

"You remembered? After all this time. Whoa. How did you afford this? It must have costed you loads. Did you eat this week? I know what your like" Regina asked quickly while looking up at Emma worried.

"Yes I ate dinner. I cut out snacks during the day and picked up extra work hours. I brought it from work so he didn't suspect a thing about my age" the blonde replied smiling as she knew the woman opposite her like the gift.

"Thank you. This is amazing" Regina said as she pulled Emma into her arms and held her close. The girls kept each other close together. Both wanting to pull away only to kiss. Each knew they didn't kiss unless they were planning on having sex. They weren't a couple. No strings were attached. Regina finally pulled away and stepped back. "My turned. Follow me" she excitedly said holding her hand out.

"Where to" Emma asked as she reach out to hold Regina's hand.

"You'll see" the brunette replied while walking upstairs. The went down the hall and to a room Emma hasn't been in before. "Put this on" Regina ordered as she held a blind fold to Emma.

"Is your present freaky sex" the blonde asked raising an eyebrow a little shocked.

"No. Your not that lucky. Put it on" the brunette replied trying not to laugh at Emma's stupid comment.

The blonde chuckled and put the blind fold over her eyes. Regina waved her hand to make sure Emma couldn't see. Once sure she opened the door. She guides Emma into the room still very excited.

"Can I take it off now" the blonde asked growing impatient.

"Yes"

Emma lifted the blind fold off her face. She opened her eyes and as they adjusted to the light she saw a black smudge in the middle of the room. Once adjusted the smudge turned into a piano with a red present bow stuck on the corner. It was a shiny black grand piano costing Regina lots of money. Emma's mouth dropped in pure shock at the sight of it.

"Ow my... ow my god. It's... whoa" Emma speechlessly tried to speak but was in so much shock.

"I take it you like it" Regina asked with a slight chuckle.

"I love it. Regina I can't accept this. It must have costed you a fortune. I know it did. I know how much they are" Emma said looking at her still full of shock.

"I have a rich family and I'm rich. It's fine. It's yours. You can keep it here and come play whenever you want until you find a place of your own. I know it won't fit in your dorm room" Regina explained while walking over to it. She stood next to the seat and patted down on it. "Come sit. Try it out"

Emma smiled brightly still shocked. She walked over and sat on the black leather seat that was a rectangular shape. The blonde lifted the cover up which was heavy. She placed her hands softly on the keys and smiled at the touch.

"This is incredible" she said surprised Regina done this. Emma pushed down on a key and the music played in her ear. She played a small tune to test it out. "I love it. Thank you so much. This means the world to me" Emma said looking round at Regina.

"It's fine. I know how much you love music and now I can hear how beautifully you play more often" Regina replied sitting down on the seat.

Emma didn't care. She placed her hands on Regina's cheeks and pulled her into a kiss. Both girls felt the passion in the kiss. More than they have before. Neither thought anything of it and pulled away. This is the moment Emma realised she had more than just feelings for Regina

"This is just amazing. I'm stunned. Thank you" Emma said realising she has thanked Regina a lot.

"Stop saying thank you. Play something for me" Regina laughed as she subconsciously placed her hand on Emma's thigh and looked at the piano.
