Emma was taken into an operation room. She was knocked out for them to do it since she lost blood and they were struggling. Regina was outside the room waiting. She was still in her pyjamas and they were stained with Emma's blood. Her hands still hand the blood on since she hasn't had time to clean it. A tall blonde woman and a sandy brown hairs man walked over to her.
"Well it looks like someone bled out a lot" the woman comments looking a little taken back at her.
"What" Regina asked confused up at the stranger woman.
"Is that Emma's blood? Were you the one who stabbed her" the man asked ignoring her questioned.
"It is but no I didn't stab her. Who are you and why are you asking me this" Regina asked as she stood up confused at these people.
"I'm Kelly and this is my husband Clive. We're Emma's parents. Who are you" the woman asked looking serious and concerned at Regina.
"Her friend and professor" the brunette replied knowing she has to keep her relationship secret.
"Nice. Is Emma out? We only came down here because we had to" Clive sighed sitting down in the seat the brunette once was.
"I wouldn't be standing here if she was" Regina replied looking at them like there stupid.
"Smart ass" Clive mumbled as he rolled his eyes.
"Is there anywhere I can get a drink that has any percentage of alcohol in" Kelly asked making it obvious she was already intoxicated.
"No. Your daughter is in there fighting for her life and you want alcohol" Regina asked taken back by what she had just said.
"Whatever. So no alcohol. Great. We're stuck in this place with no booze. I told you it was a bad idea Clive" Kelly replied with a large sigh and sitting down next to her husband.
"Yes but we got stuck as Emma's emergency contact. If we didn't then we'd be in so much shit" Clive replied crossing his arms while looking fed up.
Regina looked shocked. She knew Emma's parents didn't care but this was just crazy. She didn't know what to say or do. She knew if she spoke then she'd regret what she said. Kelly looked up at her and judged her look.
"You should maybe clean the blood off you. Makes you look like a murderer" the blonde woman said before looking at her bag.
Regina knew not to say anything. She walked away and to the bathroom. She scrubbed her hands clean of Emma's blood. She knew her clothes wouldn't clean. She walked out and to the woman at reception.
"Excuse me do you have an clothes I can change into" Regina asked getting the young woman's attention.
"No sorry. Only clothes we have are what people died in" she replied awkwardly as she looked at Regina. She saw the blood all over her. "Sorry I can't help"
"It's fine. Thanks anyway" Regina sighed while walking away. She went back to Emma's room and saw her parents gone. She looked through the window to see them in there with Emma awake. Regina walked in getting there attention. "Are you ok" she asked walking over full of worry.
"Yeah. Hurts a little but I'm fine. Sorry about your clothes... and your car... and maybe your kitchen" Emma awkwardly said thinking about the blood she got everywhere.
"It's fine honestly. I'm just glad your ok" Regina replied hiding the worries from Emma's parents.
"Why did you go to your teachers house Emma? Of all places" Kelly asked glancing at Regina then Emma.
"I was running towards that way because I didn't want to go back to campus. I was scared" Emma explained truthfully as she tried to sit up.
"How did you know it was her house" Clive asked curiously now.
"I told you. We're good friends. We met before college started" Emma replied with a sigh her parents never listen.
"Well your ok so we got dragged out here for nothing. We don't even have a place to stay" Kelly sighed as she rested back in her chair annoyed.
"One sec... podemos quedarnos contigo" Emma asked looking up at Regina. Can we stay at yours?
"Sì supongo" Regina replied annoyed at Emma's request. Yes I suppose.
"Thanks. Regina said we can stay with her" Emma said to her parents with a smile.
"What was that? German" Clive asked looking confused.
"Spanish. Regina is Spanish and I learnt in school. She finds it easier to talk like that" Emma replied lying to her parents like she always down when she saw them.
"Whatever. Thank you or mercie" Kelly said standing up from her seat.
"That's French" Regina rolled her eyes hoping they didn't see.
"I don't really care shorty. I'm going to go find something to drink" Kelly sighed as she walked towards the door.
"I'm going too" Clive adds as he followed his wife out the room.
"I though they'd never leave" Emma said with a sigh of relief to her. Regina walked over and sat on the bed. She looked annoyed at Emma. "I know. I shouldn't fight and I'm sorry"
"You shouldn't have. I'm just glad your ok" Regina softly said with a slight smile growing.
"Thanks. Also sorry about my parents. I can't actually believe they came here" Emma sighed annoyed she had to see them.
"Neither can I" Regina replied showing she wasn't happy by them.
"They are so judgemental but there the biggest pieces of shit ever. They are awful people but still can sit there and judge everyone" Emma said making it obvious she was angry at them.
"I have to agree they are very judgement. Is there really no where in town they can stay" Regina asked as she reach out and held Emma's hand.
"There only staying here for one night. By morning they will be gone. Please" the blonde begged as she squeezed her girlfriends hand.
"Fine. Your lucky I care about you" Regina replied as she brought Emma's hand to her lips. She held it with both of her hands and kissed her skin softly. "You scared me"
"And you saved me. Thank you" Emma said smiling softly at her.
