JooE's POV

Today I was at the studio, perfecting my dance moves. It probably wasn't needed, but I did it anyway.

Y/n and I got into a fight the night prior and I needed some me time. This wasn't the first argument this week.

We already had four within a three day span, all about the same thing. I was being insecure and questioning her friendship with Yeri from Red Velvet.

They have been friends for the longest time but it makes me mad at how Yeri became more and more affectionate.

The thought made me dance harder.

"Woah, JooE. Calm down or you're gonna break something," said Nayun. She waved for me to come sit next to her. "What's wrong?"

"Nayun Unnie, I'm scared. Yeri is getting closer to Y/n and I don't like it," I confessed with my head down.

"JooE, Y/n wouldn't do that. She loves you," I sighed knowing Nayun was right. "Just talk to her."

I nodded and stood up.

"Thank you, Unnie. I'm gonna go home and see her now," we parted ways and I drove home after finding my car.

~~TIME SKIP~~

I just arrived at my and Y/n's apartment. I walked in and called for her.

"Y/n, I'm home," I walked around the corner and saw her sitting on the couch.

Her head resting in her hands. I walked over to her and that's when I saw a duffel bag next to her.

"Y/n, what's wrong? What's with the bag?" I questioned in confusion and worry.

She looked at me with tear stained cheeks and red, puffy eyes.

"Come sit, Joowon," she softly demanded.

Shit, she never uses my full name unless it's to tell me she loves me. I sat down hesitantly and looked at her.

"I've been thinking," God no, please. Don't say it. "I think we should take a break."

Y/n said looking me straight in the eyes.

"W-what," I choked up a bit, this isn't supposed to be happening. "Y/n, baby we can work this out. Please, just stay."

I clutched her hands as I pleaded. Tears were steadily running down our faces, signaling that we both didn't want this.

"It's for the best," she stated nonchalantly.

I grew angry.

"Is it because of Yeri?" I couldn't control my anger. "It is, isn't it? If you wanted to leave me for her, you could've just told me."

I pulled away from her and tried to stand up, but Y/n caught my wrist.

"No! It's not because of Yeri, we have been fighting non stop lately and I know that's not healthy," she tried reasoning but all I saw was red.

"Let me go," I demanded harshly. I pulled my wrist out of her grip. "So what we had a few fights, we can still work it out."

I was losing hope quickly.

"Joowon, this is indeed for the best," Y/n stated. I started shaking my head. "You know I lov-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence," I said lowly. "If you love me, you wouldn't leave right now."
