Mirae's POV
It's been two months since Jiwon rejected Y/n. I'm happy to have her in my life. When Y/n and I went on a date, we ate lots of food, walked through a small park then went back to my place for movies.
I was excited because today I got to see her again, even though I'm hiding the most heartbreaking secret from her.
I got interrupted by my thoughts when Jiwon came over to me.
"So, how's Y/n?" She asked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Why?"
"Because I miss her," she pouted.
I scoffed.
"Is it because the Chani thing didn't work out and he dumped you two weeks ago?" I reminded her.
He only wanted Jiwon for her body.
"No," she said.
"You miss her chasing you, don't you?" I asked.
I didn't tell the girls about me and Y/n yet. I was waiting for the right time.
"If I said no, could I talk to her?" Jiwon tried.
"Haha, no," I sarcastically remarked.
"Mirae, you're not her bodyguard. I just want to ask her out," I grew infuriated at that sentence.
"Why? So you can hurt her again?" I asked trying to dig deeper.
"Why do you care so much Mirae?" Jiwon asked angrily.
The girls started looking to us as we got louder the more we argued.
"Because you've hurt her enough Jiwon. If you cared so much, then why'd you hurt her in the first place?" I got in her face.
"Because I wanted to," she spoke.
"Wait. You wanted to hurt Y/n?" I was shocked. Jiwon nodded. I was about to lunge over the table at her before Yuju grabbed my hand to calm me down. "How dare you! She never hurt you Jiwon! How could you possibly want to hurt someone as sweet as her?!"
"Because I didn't know that she liked me so when you told me I still had my doubts. I wanted to see if it was true," Jiwon ducked her head.
"You could've talked to her like a human being. You didn't have to hurt her," I said calmly.
"What's going on here?" I looked behind me to see Y/n.
"Baby!" I squealed then ran to her.
Welp I guess the truth is out. I hugged her tight as she wrapped her arms around my waist.
Jiwon's POV
"Baby?" I whispered out shocked. "Mirae, you're not dating Y/n, are you?"
"I am actually. For two months now," she replied.
I felt my heart drop. Is this how Y/n felt every time I was with Chani?
"Oh, congratulations," I fake smiled at them.
"Thank you Jiwon," Mirae said.
She was still glaring at me.
"Do you want to go out Mirae? I was thinking maybe getting Thai," Y/n said.
Mirae nodded then left hand-in-hand with Y/n. I started breathing heavily as I cried silently. Chaerin noticed then pulled me into a hug.
"Jiwon, you shouldn't be crying," she told me.
