Y/n's POV
"How do I look Chaeryeong?" I looked at my best friend seeing her saddened face.
She quickly smiled then clapped.
"You look good. Ryujin will love it," she mumbled.
I nodded then hugged her. I kissed her cheek before getting my backpack.
"I'll take you to somewhere nice for dinner later this week. Wherever you want," Chaeryeong smiled at me.
"Thank you Y/n. Go get her," I walked out of homeroom to find my crush.
I saw her at her locker so I walked to her.
"Hi Ryujinie," she looked at me then smiled.
"Hey Y/n. How are you doing?" Ryujin put her bag away before turning to me.
"I'm good. How about you?" I asked nervously.
"I'm doing amazing," she smiled. I admired her beauty as I thought about the words of my confession in my mind. "Did you need something?"
"Well, I was wondering if you would like to-," I got cut off by a guy coming up to her and kissing her cheek.
"Hey babe," he then looked up and smiled at me.
I was confused so I looked at Ryujin.
"Changbin! Don't scare me like that," she told him. "Oh, Y/n this is Changbin my boyfriend."
I felt my heart strain as I clenched the flowers I had hidden behind my back.
"Nice to meet you," the boy smiled at me.
"What were you saying?" Ryujin asked looking at me intently.
"I-I," I stuttered. Ryujin stared at me, patiently waiting. "It was nothing. I gotta go."
I walked away as I looked down. When I turned the corner I threw the flowers in a trash can then ran out of the school to my house.
Chaeryeong's POV
I saw Y/n run away from Ryujin and Changbin. They shared a kiss as I saw Y/n throw the flowers away. I quickly ran after her but saw no signs of her in the parking lot of the school.
I got in my car then went to her house. I drove quickly, worried about Y/n the whole time. I had a crush on Y/n, really badly.
It hurt when she had told me she liked Ryujin so I pushed my feelings away so I could help Y/n get her. I think today I might get my chance of being with Y/n.
I arrived at her house then quickly got out. I used my key Y/n had given me then ran in. I locked the door behind me before looking for Y/n.
I walked upstairs to her room, walking in seeing her crying.
"Y/n?" I walked to her.
I put my hand on her shoulder gently making her look to me.
"Why does everyone I like always end up with someone else?" Y/n's eyes were red and her cheeks had tears streaming down them. "Am I not able to love?"
"You are Y/n. You just need to find the right person," I hesitated. I've never been put in this situation before so it was hard. "L-Like m-me. I really l-like you Y/n. P-Pick me."
Y/n looked to me then at my fidgeting hands. She grabbed them, holding them still as I looked into her eyes.
I saw admiration in them as well as fear, love, and sadness. I held her cheek as I leaned closer to her. I closed my eyes then felt her lips on mine.
