Soyeon's POV
"Soyeon-ah!" I looked behind me to see Y/n, Minnie's sister.
"Y/n," I looked up to her considering she was at least 5'10" or 5'11". "What're you doing here?"
"I got accepted!" She showed me her acceptance sheet from the Cube CEO's.
"That's great," I handed her back the paper. "Do you need something?" I asked rather rudely.
"I-I," she stuttered. I tapped my foot impatiently. "Never mind, it's stupid." She started walking away.
I sighed then shook my head only to be met with Minnie standing behind me.
"Unnie," I grabbed my heart. "You shouldn't do that to people."
"You shouldn't be rude to my sister," she snapped.
"You were there for that?" I scratched the back of my neck nervously.
"Yeah," she nodded. "I don't understand her sometimes."
"What do you mean?" I eyed Minnie in confusion.
"Nothing," she shook her head. "Let's go, we have practice."
I nodded before looking behind me only to see Y/n staring at me as she waited in a line. I saw her look away making my heart clench a little but I didn't know why.
~~TIME SKIP~~
"Come on Soyeon! Focus!" Our choreographer yelled. "You know what? Take ten."
He walked off. I sighed then sat into the floor. The girls gathered around me except for Minnie who was talking to Y/n outside the dance studio.
"So, do you like Y/n?" Yuqi raised her eyebrows up and down.
"No," I laughed. "She's not my type."
"And what is your type Ms. Jeon?" Miyeon teased.
"Someone who goes after what they want," I smiled. "Someone who's normal and sweet. I want them to treat me like a princess."
"And you don't think I can do that?" I looked behind me to see Y/n. She had flowers and a teddy bear in her hands. "You don't think I'm normal?"
I saw the hurt in her eyes making me stand.
"I-No. Wait, yes. I don't know," I stuttered over my words. I saw a tear slip from her eye. "Y/n, don't cry." I reached up to wipe it away but she backed up. "Y-Y/n."
"I hope you find what you're looking for," she dropped the things in her hands onto the floor then walked away.
She was stopped by Minnie on her way out.
"What happened?" The older girl looked at her sister worried.
"Nothing," Y/n sighed. "It's all fucked Minnie. It never works out for me because I'm not normal."
I didn't understand because it was spoken in Thai. Y/n continued walking away despite Minnie's attempts to stop her.
The older girl looked to me with fire in her eyes.
"What did you do to my dongsaeng?" She got in my face.
"I-I don't know," I looked away from her eyes.
"You know," Yuqi stood next to Minnie. "Y/n really likes you Soyeon and what you said probably just made that go away."
My breath got caught in my throat as I looked at the pair. I shook my head then ran after the tall girl. I found her exiting the company.
