Y/n's POV

My girlfriend came in and slammed her things down onto the table. I flinched before looking up at her.

"So," she glared at me. "Where were you?"

"I was at work," I sighed. "Look I tried to make it, I really did."

"That's not what Sorin thinks," she snapped.

I looked away from the angered girl and to our three year old daughter. Her eyes were red and teared up.

"Sorin," I spoke. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to miss it."

"You said you'd make it," her fragile voice said.

"I'm sorry honey," I got onto my knees in front of her. "Appa is really sorry."

She nodded making me smile. I hugged her tight and kissed her head. I rubbed her back then looked into her eyes.

"How about I read you your favorite book then tuck you in bed?" I asked.

"Eomma said that she'd do it," Sorin looked up at me. "She said that you're unreliable."

My heart broke as I furrowed my eyebrows. I looked up at Shuhua seeing her facing away from me.

"Oh okay," I said trying not to cry. "Good night honey, Appa loves you."

"That's another thing Eomma said," her eyes found mine again. "She said that you didn't really love me because if you did, you'd put me first before everything."

A tear fell making me look away from the girl. I shook my head then looked back to her.

"Do you think that?" Her eyes widened knowing that this is the first time Sorin has ever seen me cry.

"I mean," the girl started. "It makes sense."

I nodded in a distraught manner then stood up. I looked to Shuhua again seeing her looking at me with a bored expression.

"You know," I said. "Thanks for this, I really needed this today."

I went upstairs as I heard Sorin start crying and Shuhua trying to hush her. I packed my duffel bag before the crying stopped.

"Where are you going?" Shuhua said.

"Somewhere that I can't disappoint you two anymore," I said blankly.

She just watched as I shoved shirts and pants into my bag.

"It was just words Y/n," she scoffed.

"So you tell them to our daughter?" I asked accusingly.

"Yes! Okay!" She threw her phone at me. "I do tell her these things because you're the worst father in the universe right now! You rarely make time for her or even me! You're always so busy with work! And you fucking miss important things!"

I looked down, is that really what she thinks? I'm the worst dad ever?

"And to top it all off, you're leaving when I'm pregnant," my head snapped up to her.

"Really?" She nodded.

"But there's one thing," she closes her eyes. "It's not your's."

My heart ached before her phone buzzed. I grabbed it thinking it was mine.

I scoffed then threw her phone onto the bed. I glared at her as she stood fiddling with her hands.
