Ace Clint's
I rushed over to Clay's bar. When I arrived, I stepped in and looked around almost desperately.
When Clay saw me, he waved at me so I had no choice but to walk towards him instead.

"Where's he?" I asked.

He sighed and pulled me towards the second floor. We entered a VIP room where I saw my brother sleeping on the table with the empty bottles of liquors.

"I tried to stop him but he threw a fit. I guess he had a fight with your parents." Clay said.

I breathed deeply and walked over towards my brother.
I sat beside him and patted his back.
I bit my lips as I look at his tear stained face.

He frowned from my pat and slowly opened his eyes.
"Ice, let's go." Sabi ko.

He stared at me and pushed me away.
"Don't touch me.. Stay away!" He shouted.

I felt my heart tightened. I couldn't speak and I felt weak.
He was pushing me away, his eyes glistening with an emotion I couldn't figure out. He was crying.

When I tried to approach him he stood up and staggered. Good thing Clay was there to catch him.
"Ice." I called out with my trembling voice.

He looked at me.
His eyes was fighting the pull of sleep as he look at me.
He wasn't saying anything for a long while when he suddenly sat on the couch and covered his eyes with his palms and cursed.

"Fuck..." He cursed as his shoulders tremble while crying.
I want to approach him but I'm afraid he'd force himself to stand again or worse he'd run outside with this condition.

Clay sat beside him. Patting his back with gentle eyes.
He gestured me to go there and take his place but I shook my head.
He suddenly stood up and pulled me as he push me on the couch.
I looked up at him but I held my breath when his face was too close.

He whispered as he slide his finger on my cheek, "Confront him.. Like a big brother."
He smiled and patted my shoulder before leaving.

When I calmed down and noticed that Ice was done crying, I sighed.
"What's wrong? Why are you pushing me away?"

He remained silent for a moment.
I thought he doesn't want to talk to me so I remained silent as well. A few moments passed, he suddenly spoke with a low and trembling voice.

"They want me to marry a girl.. And they said it was the least I could do for the family." He said and paused.

I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth..

"Just why the fuck I was born like this? It should have been better if I was born as smart and skilled like you. They already took away all my rights, even my right to be loved by my parents.. And now, they even want to take away my chance to be happy.. It would be nice to have everything they wanted from you."
He spoke the last sentence almost a whisper.

I looked down and my fist tightened.
"I'm sorry.." I whispered.

He suddenly laughed. I looked at him, he was still staring at the floor.
"I'm not blaming you.. I'm just being eaten by my own jealousy and insecurities. It's not something you should be apologizing for."
