Not 'JUST' friends!

Chapter 8

Liam's POV :

I liked her and I knew that. She was just so perfect and the reason for playing that song was I just wanted to tell her how much I liked her.

I was in total awe of her when I met her in Noah's birthday party. She was looking fabulous in that red off shoulder dress.

Her white pale skin was highlighted by that dark colour. I knew the moment I saw her that I wanted her.

But things didn't look the same from her side. I saw how nervous she was the first time she met me.

And I dont want her to be like that. I so badly wanted to kiss her while having coffee.

Her innocent eyes were scanning the environment while her lips parted every two seconds just to close again in admiration of what she saw.

I wanted to tell her about my middle school crush back in Ohio and just wanted to see if she showed a hint of jealousy.

But I guessed it was too soon. When she agreed to have coffee with me I thought that even she likes me.

But I can't judge that quickly. Maybe she is here with me just as a friend. I wanted to know more about her.

I wanted to be around her for as long as possible. Suddenly I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard her voice. "I think we should leave for home. It's getting dark."

I knew she was right and we had to leave before it gets dark but I wanted to stay with her.

Nonetheless I answered, "Yup, just a second." I quickly took my phone out of my pocket and before she even knew I clicked a picture of her and got up from my chair.

She adjusted her bag on her back and I just couldn't stop myself from gawking at her.

I slipped my hand on her waist to feel her touch and I swear I regretted that action because I didn't want her to think of myself as a moron.

When she felt my touch I saw her shivering for a second. I just smiled. After getting in the car I decided to talk to her about her personal life.

I don't know why I even thought that she would tell me but I wanted to know if there was someone special in her life.
