After the party was over, the boys left to their respective places. Now it was just Emily, Isabella and I.
We got back into the Limo again and I asked the driver to leave us at Emily's place.
Emily lived with her mother. Her father left them when she was just two.
He still comes to visit them during Thanksgiving but Emily is reluctant to accept him as his father. She hates him for not being there for them when they needed him the most.
As soon as we reached her place, I took a second to notice her house. There was a green couch in the extreme left of the room and a piano in the right.
The room was cream coloured and there hung pictures of Emily and her mother on the walls.
I just realised that it has been a long time since I last came to her place. Soon I was pulled by Isabella into Emily's room.
On entering the room there was a small bed against the wall. And on the walls were pictures of Emily with Lily and I.
We grew up together and were more like sisters. There was a dressing table besides the bed and a study table near the balcony.
I changed myself into some comfy clothes and after removing my makeup I spranged on the bed to release my exhaustion. Soon I was joined by the other two.
We laughed and gossiped until we realized that tomorrow is Monday and we have school.
We felt irritated as we had to attend Mr. Theressa's English classes which were boring as fuck.
Suddenly I was interrupted with my thoughts when Emily asked me about the dance.
I looked blank and didn't know how to tell them about the scenario which took place on the dance floor.
Still I knew I couldn't hide this from them and gave up even on the thought of doing so.
I quickly stood up and started strolling in the room. They looked at me and then at each other trying to figure out what I was about to say.
I then stopped and in the split of a second I was kneeling on the bed.
I replied, "He is just different. I am actually unable to understand what he meant by those words that he told me."
They still looked confused. Right then Emily said, "You don't need to be hesitant Mia. It's us. You can trust us and you know we won't be judging you."
I knew she was speaking the truth and then I said, "He told me that I looked beautiful."
I could see their eyes popping out. I further continued, "He never wanted to come to Manhattan. But he had to in order to complete his studies."
I gulped the saliva accumulating in my mouth and then added, "He hopes to meet me again."
Even before I completed Isabella squealed so loudly that it nearly scared me.
I was confused to see such a reaction from Isabella.
Suddenly Emily answered, "This is weird Mia because you are dating James. Otherwise catching up with friends is normal. I know Liam has something else in mind but still I guess you can hangout with him and I am sure James will be okay with it."
I shrugged not knowing what to do next. We just laid on the bed when a notification popped up on my phone.
It was from a private number and I couldn't believe what I saw next. It was a text message from Liam.
