Not 'JUST' friends!

Chapter 14

Liam's POV :

I had informed Noah about my concert and had asked him to call everyone and by everyone I was actually just concerned with one and that was Mia.

But I had this gut feeling that she won't turn up to my concert. And I didn't want that. I had things planned out for the concert.

I thought of calling her before the concert but always shook it away as I didn't want to sound desperate.

However I couldn't control myself and finally called her. She picked my 6th call and this itself proved that she was trying to avoid me.

However I still tried to keep it normal. I asked her if she was attending my concert and her answer didn't surprise me at all.

She answered in the negative saying that she had some important things to cover and also wanted to spend some time with her jackass boyfriend James.

Now I know it is wrong of me to judge him even before meeting but I hated him and I knew that.

I literally ordered her to come at my concert and she even agreed as if she was just waiting for me to convince her.

These girls you know, they are hard to understand.

When she was standing with James for the concert I could see him holding her hand.

I wanted to punch him so bad that it would leave a mark. Mia was looking too adorable in that white jumpsuit. I wanted to hug her so badly.

Just when the concert was about to end I called up Sophia on the stage.

She knew all about my feelings for Mia and I asked her if she could help me by just coming on the stage and she agreed.

I saw the look on Mia's face when she saw Sophia and I could see hurt plastered all over.

But I knew I had to do this to make sure if she feels the same way I do for her.

After the concert I went over to Noah's group and they all congratulated me for my performance.

However my eyes were just stuck on her. She didn't even say once that she enjoyed it. I went over to James and I introduced myself. 

Then I pulled Sophia over to my side and introduced her to the group.

Just then Emily asked if she was just a friend? I so wanted someone to ask me this so that I could play my ace card.

I blushed and replied with a 'maybe' while winking at Emily. As soon as I answered I looked over at Mia to notice her expression.

She faked a big smile and this expression of her satisfied me. I knew she was jealous.

I wanted to hold her so tightly and never leave her side. I wanted to kiss her and drown myself in her.

But deep down I knew I had to wait. Things were needed to be taken a little slow.
