Once they left my place, I went back to my room to get a shower. After having a long 20 minutes bath, I chose wearing a long lose pink t-shirt with blue shorts as I knew I was going to be in the house the entire day.
As I was pulling my hair into a bun, my phone started ringing. I went over towards the bed and saw that it was a call from Liam.
I ignored the call not wanting to talk to him anytime soon. But after the 5th missed call I knew he wasn't gonna stop till I answer him.
I picked up the phone and said,
Me : Hey
Liam : Hey Mia. Where were you? I called you like five times before.
Me : Umm...I was actually taking a bath. Sorry.
Liam : It's okay. By the way are you coming to my concert today?
Me : Nope.
Liam : May I know the reason for you not attending it?
Me : I have some important work to finish and also it has been a long time since I've spent some quality time with James. So I am going over at his place tonight.
Liam : Mia, this is not fair. I wanted you to be there. And you get to be with James the entire day as you'll are in the same school.
Me : But...
Liam : No if's and but's. You are coming and that's final. Do you want me to pick you up?
Me : No...I'll tell James to pick me up.
Liam : Okay babe! See you tonight. Bubye.
Me : Bye.
After the line went dead, I just couldn't understand what the hell happened.
I was firm on not attending his concert but he just ordered me and now I am going.
Who is he, my mom? To order me like that. After a good ten minutes of internally arguing with myself I called James to ask if he could pick me.
He answered my call after the very first ring.
James : Yes babe?
Me : Baby can you pick me up for Liam's concert?
James : Obviously I will. I was going to call you to ask if you wanted me to pick you up.
Me : Okayy 7 p.m. sharp outside my bungalow. Don't be late.
James : I won't babydoll. I am too excited to attend a concert with you after such a long time. Bubye.
Me : Bubye.
With that he hung up the phone. I breathed out and thought that tonight is gonna be a big night.
I mentally prepared myself for all the events that could take place.
