"We need a new plan of action, then", I say.
Both of them nod in agreement and then there is silence. Deafening silence. I know that all of us are trying to find the best way out of here and I know that their minds are probably as blank as mine but somehow I feel that we maybe able to get out of this.
Jane gets up beaming. Ooooohhhh, that's the face of a brilliant ideaaa!!
"So here it is, we could call the police beforehand and we could like you know...kind of work on his anger. I could easily make his head boil and as we all know pretty well...he is damn amazing at keeping a check on himself"
I chuckle. Yeah, keeping a check.
"It was sarcastic if you didn't get it, Bin"
"So you are saying that we deliberately make him angry so he does something which will lead to him being arrested"
"Exactly", Jane says and high fives Irene.
"We are all set. Let's go get him"
We reach the park at five and sit in a cafe nearby waiting for him to arrive.
Once Jane leaves the place, we will call the police and inform them.
At five fifty five, we see Ethan arrive in his regular black suit. He does look good.
But Shakespeare taught me well in The Merchant of Venice. Appearance isn't everything, Robin.
"Here we go", Jane says and gets up.
I see her leave and as soon as she is in the park, I reach for my phone.
Shittttt.
"We need to get her out of there. We really need her to come back before she says something that will cause him to do something irrational", I say.
"That's the plan, honey"
"Well, we need to change our plan"
Ohh shitt man. Why didn't I think of this before?? Holy fuck.
"But why?"
There is tension on Irene's face and I am the reason. Well the occasion is such that demands it.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. All I can think of is how wrong that statement is. Sometimes, all desperate measures actually call for is for us to stay low and wait for the storm to pass by.
That's what we should have done.

"Ethan as connections"
Irene's hand covers her mouth as soon as she realizes what I am saying but still I complete my sentence to make everything as clear it can be.
"He will be out in less than a day and he would want more than Jane's love when he is back."
"We need to get there", we say simultaneously and move out of our seats on the way to the park.
