10. Challenges

Robin's POV
" Wakey wakey Jane!!" I said hitting myself mentally for acting like a four-year-old. Wakey wakey.....what is happening to me?
"Ethan?" She said still deep in her sleep. She is dreaming about him again. She promised that she will let go and try to be happy. Maybe she is trying but her dreams are not something she has control over
"Noo.... It's Bin. Wake up. You need to attend your college. You can not stay home for the entire semester" I said shaking her out of her sleep.
"My god Bin....try to be a bit gentle. Is this how you wake a girl up?? And don't you have any shame standing in front of me in just a towel"
Her words made me look down at myself and indeed I was in a towel but that is normal for us. I mean we are roommates after all.
"In such a good mood early morning! Did you have the best dream or what?" I said already aware of the fact that her dream was beautiful. His memory always makes her happy even though the reality sucks. A frown found it's way over her face as I said that.
"I saw Ethan."
"I know.... You mentioned his name in your sleep"
"Will I be able to keep my promise with his recurring dreams?" She asked losing the confidence she had yesterday.
"Yes, you will Jane. Now don't think about him. There is something far more important that requires our attention."
"What?" She asked, a ray of excitement visible in her eyes.
"You betrayed me yesterday"
"Me?? Betrayed you?? What are you saying??"
"Yes. Yes, you betrayed me. You slept"
"Ohh you are talking about that. It was not intentional. How should I make it up to you?" She said trying her best to show that she is happy.
"By going to college and by getting yourself a date by the end of this month," I said. Going on a date would be a great change for her. She has not been out with anyone except me for a really long time. She should make some friends. I don't know how she manages everything in college.
"A date?? You have got to be kidding me. Just because I slept, you think you can torture me. Try something else. I might do that" she said ruining my plans.
"Alright!! Alright!! I want you to make a friend by the end of this month. And I want you to record your time with him in a diary. Can this work?"
"What has gotten into that head of yours? You know I hate being around people. You should feel privileged that I choose to be around you"
"Just do it, yeah?"
"Okay! Fine. But you have to do something in return" she said and I can already declare that whatever it is in her mind, is evil.
"What?"
"You will go and spend your weekend with Irene" This is stupid. She can't ask me something like this. If I go away even for a single day, she would break.
"You know I can't do that"
"Neither can I do what you want me to"
"My reasons are reasonable. I can't leave you alone"
"I am not a child Bin. I can live by myself and you have a life of your own. Taking care of me is not what you should be doing all the time"
"Then you won't live alone. I will ask one of my friends to stay with you"
I said satisfied with my plan. That way she won't be alone and if anything wrong happens, I will get to know.
"Nooo!!!"
"I am not hearing an argument"
"Okay," she said like a child who was being scolded by her parents. Wait a minute. I did scold her like a parent. Ohh man!!
