Everything that happened left us with a friendship stronger than ever. I finally decided that it was time I stopped running away from my feelings for Irene and proposed to her. We got married five years after my proposal. I will always love Jane but she never needed me to be more than her friend. She would always be there for me and I for her.
After the event with Ethan, she spent her time pursuing her art and she is a world renowned artist today. After her first big exhibition, she travelled to Europe for inspiration. There she met Lance Fisher Hart. It didn't take them a long time to fall in love and one drunken night, they got married. At first they went for an annulment but Lance asked her to marry him; properly this time and they had no reason to get an annulment. She finally found love. He is a great guy. They have a permanent home in London but they travel a lot and barely live in that home. They visit us sometimes and we have been planning to visit them for a long time but never have. We still are great friends, we still are screwed up, we still have problems but at least now, we can handle them. Now the amount of happiness exceeds the amount of sadness. The fake smile Jane always had has now been replaced by a happy one.
