Carol POV

I got home with a serious headache, my day at school was stressful and I think I was coming up with a fever.

I entered my room to rest my head but my dad decided that was the best time for him to call me.

I groaned getting up,I knew he was going to hit me again and have gotten use to that now but the pain in my heart was still unbearable.

It was like I was breaking every single day.

I went down to meet him,immediately he saw me,he slapped me hard.

It was like his slaps were getting stronger everyday or maybe I was the one growing weaker.

He pulled my hair dragging me to the kitchen with him.

Lie down on the table, he said with a blank face.

I was confused but I did as he said.

Now for being a bad girl,you will receive twelve wipe and don't scream or I will add two more to it,he smirked wickedly at me.

My eye went wide in fear.

Why you doing this, I cried out.

Because you disgust me!,he yelled in my face.

This isn't my dad,this isn't the man I grew up to love.

He brought out the wipe and started flogging me.

By the time he was done,I had received 20 wipe because the pain was unbearable and I kept screaming.

I was dead inside and I'm sure I lost consciousness before he finished.

Be a good girl,he patted my head before leaving.

I couldn't move,I couldn't think,all I did was cry.

My soul was weak,I was weak.

I got up slowly but I screamed out in pain.

I managed to get to my room,I fell on the ground in pain.

Why?,was all I could say before I lost consciousness.

Reid POV

Blake,get your hands off my food,I groaned.

Please, just a bite,he begged.

You just finished yours,I glared at him.

But yours sweeter,he smirked.

Just then Mrs Norma entered the kitchen.

Blake,she glared at him.

Sorry,he murmured.

How are my boys doing,she smiled coming to kiss my cheeks.

Don't I get a kiss,Blake pout.

Why not, Mrs Norma laughed going to kiss Blake cheeks too.

I rolled my eyes at him.

Someone knocked at our door and I looked at Blake who was also looking at me confused.

Are you boys expecting anyone,she asked looking at us.

Me and Blake both said no.

Okay,she said going to open the door.

Me and Blake got up after her,she opened the door and we found a note at the door step.

Mr Norma picked up the note and locked the door.

What's that,Blake asked.

I took it from her hands and opened the letter.

I clutched my fist after reading the letter.

Blake took it from my hands and read it and his eyes held anger.

Mr Norma took the letter and drop it in shock.

Oh my,she cried.

My anger died down when I saw Mrs Norma crying.

Please don't cry,I tried to comfort her.

We are going to find him,I told her calmly,we will find him.

I looked at Blake and I knew he was trying hard not to cry since Mrs Norma was like a mother to him.

Carol POV

I woke up with a sharp pain, it was like the pain became worst.

I crawled to the bathroom, I turned on the shower.

I screamed as the water touched my skin.

Before long I became numbed,I couldn't feel a thing but my heart was heavy.

I didn't know how long I stayed in the bathroom but the water suddenly become cold.

I turned the shower off and got out of the shower.

I went to the mirror and looked at my back,what I saw made me cry out.

There were ugly red marks at my back and it was looking horrible and fresh.

I had slept through out the whole night and now it was time to prepare for school.

I put on some clothes and when I looked at the mirror I was a hot mess.

I slowly walked to the door since my body was in severe pains.

I started my journey to school and with every step I took,it was like I was going to die any second.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to see Eloisa today but to my disappointment she was just coming out from her house.

Hey,she waved at me.

I manage to smile back.

What's wrong,she asked.

Nothing,I lied.

You don't have to lie to me,I know something is wrong,I can feel it,talk to me, she pleaded.

I wanted to tell her,to explain everything to her but I couldn't.

It's nothing really,I lied.

Is he hurting you,she asked.

Who,I asked confused but my heart beat was faster than usual.

Your dad,she looked at me like she was daring me to lie to her.

Yes,I finally gave in.

Oh, I understand how that feels,I was once in your shoes,she said.

Really,I asked her surprise.

Yes,but when my aunt knew about it,she took me away from him,so now I'm living with my her,she smiled at me.

I don't know any other person beside my brother and I couldn't just leave my dad,he his all I have left.

I didn't know I was crying before Eloisa hugged me.

I hissed out in pain and I couldn't stop myself from screaming.

I'm so sorry,she apologized.

Can I see it,she asked.

I don't know if I wanted her to see the ugly thing on my back but since she already know,why not?

I slowly opened my back for her and she gasped covering her mouth.

Oh my,you have to see a doctor, you could get an infection,she cried.

It's okay Eloisa, I'm fine,I tried to assure her.

She didn't believe me but she let it pass.

Promise not to tell anyone,I told her seriously.

She looked at me then she sigh.

I promise but if you ever need help,just let me know,please, she said.

Okay.

We got to school and I went to my locker to take out my books.

During my classes, I was hoping to see Reid or Blake,but I didn't see them.

I guess they didn't come to school today,I thought.
