The next day is terrible! I had to wake up 1 hour earlier than I should just because of that Calliego and his note! Kung hindi lang ako mabait ay hindi ko na siya pupuntahan para lang doon pero dahil alam ko ang kahalagahan ng mga ganito ay nagmamagandang loob na akong pumunta. Bakit ba kasi ang bait ko?

"Stupid."

My mind went blank for a moment until my mouth gaped open. What the heck? Pagkatapos kong gumising nang maaga, tatawagin lang niya akong tanga? I'm not a morning person! 10 pm pa ang simula ng huling araw ng intrams pero dahil sakanya ay nandito na ako ng 8:30 palang! "You're the stupid one, stop blaming it to me. You let that note fall to me, kung hindi ka nga lang tanga." I gave emphasis to the word 'tanga', to prove a point.

"It was damn intentional, woman!" Kunot ang noong sabi niya, tila ba nag-iisip kung anong klaseng pag-uutak ang meron ako.

I stopped when I heard his accent. His voice became more attractive. It fit really well to him. Nung nagtatagalog siya ay maganda na ngunit mas gumanda pa ito. I stopped my thoughts and faced him, slightly ashamed of thinking about him and being stupid not to think that the letter's for me.

"W-well..." I heard myself stutter so I cleared my throat before continuing. "Intentional?" Mahina pa ang boses ko dahil sa kahihiyan.

Umirap ang maarte niyang mga mata. Mas maarte pa talaga itong lalakeng ito sakin.

"The thing is, I know my sister is acting." Akala ko ay iyon na ang sasabihin niya ngunit dinagdagan niya. "The question is why." He looked at me expectedly as if quietly praying for me to get it. "I did my research, more like boss out my private investigators, and found out that Bea asked her to do it."

Agad na kinabahan ako. If he has these great investigators, does he know about my plan? It's not really a secret and I'll discuss it with him if he agrees to help me out but him, learning it from other people will make it worse. We all know how simple stories become scandalous nowadayas- especially in high school.

Kinagat ko ang labi ko habang nakatingin siya sa akin at tila ba nagtataka sa existence ko. It felt like the right time to answer but then I couldn't figure out what to say. Did he even ask?

"What?"

"What, what?" Tanong niya habang kunot na kunot ang noo.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I innocently asked.

Bumuntong hininga siya bago iritang ibalik ang mga mata sakin. What did I do now? And why does he always make me feel like I did something wrong everytime we encounter?

"Do I have to make everything clear for you to understand?" He brushed his hair harshly with his right hand. I saw how his white long sleeved uniform hugged his biceps more.

I tried to think of something else to divert my mind.

Right. This guy is so madaldal. Why not get to the point instead of voicing out every word he thinks of. He's really not like other boys. Other boys like to speak in riddles and play mysterious but this one- his personality is laid back like he don't care what others think at all- exactly what I need to crush to build my confidence.

Tumango nalang ako sa sinabi niya. Napa-singhap siya at napa-iling bago huminga nang malalim dahil sa pagpipigil ng inis.

"What? It's not like I would know what you mean with just one look in your eyes. You're not my bestfriend." It was then the perfect time for me to be the one to roll my eyes- so I did.
