A/N

This may or may not be slightly inspired by that ever so famous 2013 Thor: TDW panel (link above)

"What did you do this time?" Nat asked. Tony had come into the lounge with a short stack of papers, a few pens, and a huge grin on his face.

"How would you all like to be featured guests at the local Comic Convention?" He asked.

"Wait, really??" Maya asked.

"That's amazing, Mr. Stark!" Peter said happily.

"Yep, we just have to sign these papers, then in a month or so, we go to the Con, sit at tables, then people meet us. We can all be together while seeing some cool cosplays and meeting fans." Tony explained.

"Wait, back up. What's a Comic Convention?" Olivia asked.

"It's where people dress in costumes of characters from things, buy lots of overpriced merchandise from things they're fans of, and meet famous people for even more money. And this year, the staff at the con has asked for us." Tony explained.

"Really? People want that badly to meet us?" Bucky asked.

"Sure! We're Earth's Mightiest Heroes, who wouldn't want to meet us?"

"I think it's doubtful anyone would want to meet me." Loki said.

"Oh, you'd be surpirsed." Maya said offhandedly.

"Anyway, we each have to sign these papers, then we send them off, and boom, we have reserved seats." Tony said, passing everyone a paper and pen.

I, ______________, am willing and ready to attend the convention as a special guest and acknowledge the risks involved (see below).

There was more, but that's what stuck out to Olivia the most. Risks? What sort of risks? She'd seen hundreds of years of battle, what could be so bad about a harmless convention? She skimmed the short list of risks, a few things jumping out at her: crazy, touches, and fangirl (whatever the Hel that was). She considered asking, but she figured she could take it if something went awry.

She signed the paper along with everyone else. Tony collected the papers and put them in a yellow evelope.

"I'll send these off, and then we'll get a confirmation letter about a week before the Con." He said, closing the envelope. "I'll get this mailed right now." He grabbed his keys and walked out the door.

~Two Months Later~

"You ready for this?" Nat asked Olivia.

"I guess so. There were a few things on the papers we signed that have me a little nervous, but I'm sure it will be fine." Olivia replied, putting on a cross-body purse that held her pens, a book, and an emergency dagger that was disguised as a pencil. The team wore casual wear; wearing their suits would be uncomfortable at best. She wore a blue t-shirt with a grey zip up hoodie with pants and knee-high boots.

"I'm sure it will. Just be careful of fangirls." Nat warned with a smile.

"I was meaning to ask you about that. What exactly are those?" Olivia asked. Nat said nothing, just typed something into her phone and showed it to Olivia.

Olivia said nothing, just looked at Nat with a look of minor confusion and a little bit of fear.

"Those things exist?" She asked.

"Sure do. I've seen my fair share of them. I went to a con a few years ago and I saw a group ambush some poor schmuck. A small group crowded the tower at one point, but you were on Asgard for a visit at the time. Scary beings." Nat said, wiggling her fingers. Olivia picked at her lip and glanced at her bag, thinking of her "pencil" in concern. "It'll be fine. We've beat aliens and Hydra agents before. And this place has security."
