"Has anyone seen Olivia and Loki lately?" Tony asked.
"Last I heard, they were out in Central Park. It's been a few hours, but maybe they hit the bookstore." Wanda suggested.
"Probably." Tony consented.
Sir, you have a video call from S.H.I.E.L.D. Jarvis alerted.
"Jesus, what do they wan't now?" Tony groaned. "Put them on the flat screen."
Yes, sir. Jarvis complied as the T.V. in the lounge winked on. Agent Coulson fidgeted with his fingers. (I've said it 100000 times, the Avengers know my man Coulson lives, roll with it).
"Hey, Phil, what's up?" Nat asked.
"Look, I don't know how to tell you this..." Coulson said, looking around the room from the screen.
"Does it have to do with the Hydra base in Italy we busted?" Maya asked.
"Well, no, actually. Is anyone from your team missing?" Coulson asked.
"Yeah, Loki and Olivia have been out for a few hours. Why?" Carson replied.
"That's what I thought." Coulson said, tapping on an iPad.
"They're not dead, are they?" Thor asked, worried.
"God no. But gather everyone else on your team and head to Central Park. We've roped it off to the public for now, but you'll get in easy." Coulson directed.
"What's this all about?" Wanda asked.
"It'll be easier to see rather than me explain it. See you there." Coulson said, ending the call.
"Oookay, that was weird." Peter said.
"Who cares if it's weird, we need to find out what's going on. Central Park is not long of a walk from here. Let's go." Tony said.
~a short walk later~
S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had part of Central Park roped off and guarded. Small crowds gathered around the ropes, trying to see what S.H.I.E.L.D. was guarding. The team arrived to see the scene and were kind of shocked at the extensive safety measures.
"Agent Hill... What's going on?" Nat asked.
"Oh, good, you're here. We need to head for the clearing. And, be careful and don't be scared." Maria Hill said, gesturing for them to step over the caution tape. Still confused, the team followed Agent Hill to a large clearing in the park.
"'Don't be scared?' The hell does that mean?" Clint asked.
"No idea, but I have a feeling we're about to find out." Bruce said, cleaning his glasses. Then a large shadow passed over the team. The team looked up and were shocked at what they saw. A large, winged, green, and scaley beast circled around them and then landed in front of them.
"HOLY SHIT, IT'S A FLYING IGUANA!" Clint shrieked, leaping into Tony's arms.
"No, birdbrain, it's a dragon." Tony said, dropping Clint onto the ground with a thud.
"But-but how?" Bruce asked, a hand shading his eyes from the sunlight.
"I might have an idea..." Wanda said, pointing to a figure sliding down off of the dragon's back.
"Hey, guys! What do you think?" Olivia called, running a hand over the dragon's snout.
"We'll answer that later, how did you get a dragon, and where is Loki?" Clint asked.
"I think you answered your own question." Pietro commented as the dragon dissolved into a green light and was replaced by Loki, standing there like nothing had happened.
"You can turn into a dragon??" Maya asked.
"It took a lot of work, but yes." Loki replied as he and Olivia walked over to the team.
"That's amazing, Mr. Loki!" Peter gushed.
"Can you breathe fire?" Thor asked.
"That's the best part. We combined my love of dragons with my love of Game of Thrones. I can say 'Dracarys' and he breathes fire." Olivia said. Loki lit up with a green light and grew back into his dragon form. "Only downside is that Loki can only hold the illusion for about an hour before it stops and we have to wait about 6 hours before we can do it again." Olivia explained, shrugging.
"So... Are you the Mother of Dragons or...?" Clint asked.
"No, dumbass, she can't be the 'mother' of dragons if her dragon is her lover." Bucky said, smacking Clint upside the head.
"We could go the full Shrek route and call her the F*cke-" Tony started, but Wanda kicked his shin.
"I know what your going to say, and shut up." Wanda hissed.
"Fine, fine. But I'm calling her Khaleesi from now on." Tony said, rubbing his shin.
"Is this technically a weapon? If so, can S.H.I.E.L.D. authorize it?" Nat asked.
"I'm sure we can get that covered." Agent Hill said, typing something on her iPad.
"Imagine the next Hydra base we have to shut down, and their reactions when a dragon just appears out of nowhere." Peter said excitedly.
"They'll wet themselves for sure." Maya agreed.
"This is gonna be the new 'We Have a Hulk,'" Carson said.
"'You can't defeat us, we have super high tech weapons.' 'Yeah, well we have a dragon.'" Maya replied.
"Does this mean I can stop ripping my pants every time we go on a mission?" Bruce asked.
"Not a chance, pal." Tony said, punching Bruce's arm good-naturedly.
