A/N

Basically it's what if the OCs had died in place of their S.O.s in Infinity War.

Thereby, it's neither Multiverse 418 or 419

"NO!" Thor screamed as the staff was plunged into Heimdall's chest. From behind a close debris pile, Loki and Olivia hid, Loki shushing Olivia's screams before they even started by pressing a finger to her lips.

"Shhhh... Don't make a sound. I don't want you to be found." He told her. She nodded and he let his hand drop.

"What are we going to do, there has to be something." Olivia whispered.

"You're going to die for that!" Thor said from his position.

"I... I don't know." Loki admitted, biting his lip and watching Thanos pick up the Tesseract.

"You don't KNOW? You always have a plan!" Olivia hissed.

"Not this time." Loki replied. There was a brief silence only penetrated by the hum of the Tesseract.

"Well... Whatever happens, we... We have to make sure Asgard lives on. Whatever it takes..." Olivia muttered. Loki didn't say anything, there was a mutual understanding that went without saying. There was a loud crack as a small shockwave reverberated around the ship. Then there was a clink and another shockwave.

Thanos had aquired the Space Stone.

They were running out of time.

The pair looked into each others eyes in understanding.

"I love you... No matter what." Olivia whispered. Then, they touched their lips together in a tender and bittersweet kiss. They could both taste blood, but they didn't care.

Simultaneously, Olivia removed her green hair elastic and looped it around Loki's free wrist. Then, she placed the disc she kept under her breastplate into the same hand. They pulled away, a small and sad smile on Olivia's face. Before Loki could realize what was going on, Olivia lightly tapped on his forehead once. It was a simple bit of magic, just enough to briefly daze Loki so she could move before he did. He bounced back quickly, but not quick enough to stop her from running out from the pile, a dagger drawn.

She ran forward, kicking one of Thanos's 'children' in the shin. She caught Thanos off guard enough that she was able to scratch the side of Thanos's head with the dagger. He groaned in pain, blood lightly dripping from the cut. Olivia went in for another blow, but Thanos threw the dagger from her grasp with the Space Stone. It flew to the side, clattering to the ground.

She couldn't move. The power of the stones kept her in place, completely immobile. Thanos almost mockingly smiled down at her.

"And who are you?" He asked. Olivia opened her mouth to reply, but Thanos reached down and took her neck in his gauntleted hand.

She couldn't breathe. She felt her blood begin to pulse, a dull thud she could feel in her temples. She struggled, her hands trying to push Thanos's hand away, allow her to take a breath. The attempt was futile, however.

"I-I am Olivia of Asgard, Wife of Loki Odinson... And I s-swear to the Allfathers... You... You will not s-succeed." She spoke laboredly. The edges of her vision were fading out and her consciousness was wavering. She still tried to take a breath, shove Thanos's hand away, anything.

Olivia continued to struggle. She could tell she was dying.

"Wife of Loki, you say?" Thanos mused. He clenched his hand tighter. As she felt her strength leaving, she looked to her side at the debris pile. Loki had stepped out most of the way. She could see in his eyes that he was more than heartbroken. It was probably the last time she'd ever see him. But if it meant that he'd live on, she'd be more than willing to pay the price.
