Just a short little thing because I'm bored. Also it's late.

~Asgard, Hundreds of Years Prior (physically 5-6 years old)~

"Come, my brother, we must save the fair maiden!" Thor cried, raising a wooden sword. He stood on the foot of his bed, posing heroically despite the pyjamas he wore.

"Are you saying I can't save myself?" Olivia asked, placing her tiny fists on her hips with a disapproving look. She was up in the rafters of the room where the three of them would hide out when they wanted to avoid their lessons.

"No, I'm not saying that. But play along, sister!" Thor said excitedly. Olivia rolled her eyes, but draped herself dramatically over the railing.

"Oh, brave princes, how will you ever save me from the scary bilgeshnipe king?" She said, putting little enthusiasm in her words. Thor decided to take it seriously and play along.

"I must keep the king distracted! Loki, find the fair maiden!" Thor said, battling an invisible foe. Loki continued to play along, climbing the ladder to the rafters to where Olivia sat "helplessly" waiting for rescue.

"Come, my lady, we must get to safety!" Loki said. He always had a flair for the dramatic, and it made Olivia giggle.

"Of course, brave prince, but we must be very quiet." She said, now fully committed to her role. The two of them began to climb down the ladder, but Loki suddenly stopped.

"Oh no! The bottom half is gone! We have to jump to safety!" He said. He let go of the ladder and launched himself onto his nearby bed. Olivia followed suit, just barely avoiding falling on Loki.

"How goes it, brave prince Thor?" Olivia asked.

"Perfectly fine!" He said. Thor then threw his wooden sword across the room. "I've lost my weapon!"

"Loki, may I see that for a moment?" Olivia asked, pointing to Loki's identical wood sword. He passed it to her, before she flew off the bed and started attacking Thor's invisible adversary.

"Be careful, fair maiden!" Thor said. Olivia stabbed at the air a few more times before she pretended to stab the sword into the ground, dusting her hands off.

"And thus, the beast is slain." She said, head raised in pride.

"No fair." Thor said, crossing his arms.

"You lost your weapon and I saved the day. You're welcome." Olivia said.

"Not yet! There's a whole other hoard of bilgeshnipes headed this way!" Loki said, pointing to the other side of the room. Olivia raised the wooden sword as Loki ran for Thor's discarded one.

"Hey, where's my weapon?" Thor asked. Olivia looked around before finding a broom in the corner of the room. She unscrewed the stick from the brush bit and passed the sword back to Thor.

"The two brave princes and the sorceress must face the hoard all on their own until help arrives." Olivia said, raising the stick straight up with two hands.

"Are you ready?" Thor asked.

"Let's go!" Loki said, raising his sword.

"FOR ASGARD!!!" The three of them cried at the same time, before running in different directions around the room, attacking invisible enemies.

The door softly opened as Frigga peeked her head inside, smiling at the children playing.

"And what might you three be doing?" She asked. Thor perked up at the sound of his mother's voice.

"The brave princes and the sorceress are fighting an army of bilgeshnipe so they can get home, Mama!" He said enthusiastically. Frigga chuckled at the antics.

"Well, brave warriors of Asgard, I think it's time for bed." She said.

"Aww, but Mama-" Loki started to protest.

"You'll need the strength in the morning if you're ever to get home. Bilgeshnipe need sleep too, you know." Frigga said calmly, going to sit on Loki's bed.

"Okay..." Thor said as he and Loki put their swords back in their little toy bin. Olivia put her broomstick back in the corner, not replacing the brush bottom. Frigga sat back on the pillows, crossing her legs and gesturing for the three children to join her. Thor found a home in his mother's lap, Loki leaning against her chest as she rest her arm around his small body. Olivia curled up on her knee right next to Loki.

"Now, do you want a song or a story tonight?" Frigga asked.

"Can we hear the river song?" Olivia asked. Thor and Loki both nodded in agreement. Frigga smiled and pulled the three of them closer.

"Alright, cuddle close. Scooch in." She said.

"Where the northwind meets the sea, there's a river full of memory. Sleep, my darling, safe and sound, for in this river, all is found. In her waters, deep and true, lie the answers and a path for you." Frigga started to sing, noting at this point that Thor had already fallen asleep, his loud snores echoing around the room. She stood up carefully, her young son in her arms as she carefully laid him down on his own bed. She pulled the slightly mussed up covers from playing up on his body, placing a small kiss on his forehead.

"Dive down deep into her sound, but not too far, or you'll be drowned. Yes, she will sing to those who hear, and in her song, all magic flows. But can you brave what you most fear? Can you face what the river knows?" She went back over to Loki's bed, finding he had also fallen asleep as she continued singing the lullaby. His blankets were already over him as he snored quietly compared to his brother. She smiled before placing a short kiss on his forehead as well. Olivia lay curled up like a cat no more than a foot away from Loki. She was barely staying awake, letting out a yawn before shutting her eyes.

"Where the northwind meets the sea, there's a mother full of memory." Frigga carefully picked up the young girl in her arms, letting her head rest on her shoulder. Frigga quietly left her sons' room as she traveled down the hallway to Olivia's room. She laid her down in her own bed, drawing up the covers slowly so as to not wake the girl.

"Come, my darling, homeward bound. When all is lost, then all is found." Frigga finished the song, placing a last motherly kiss on Olivia's forehead. Frigga looked at the girl with a warm smile, before she left the room, shutting the door behind her.

We rarely get stories about the Asgardians as young children, so I decided to write a quick one. Yeah, this is heavily based on Frozen 2, but I love the movie so much...

Also, I considered having them fight against Frost Giants when they were playing, but I wasn't gonna do that to myself right now.
