A blue moon happens when dust or smoke particles travel up from the atmosphere to the moon causing it to look a blue or green colour (but sometimes it has no colour change at all). Hence "blue moon". It is also what the 13th full moon in a year is described as. Blue moons are very rare. (The next one is the 18th of May 2019, so look out for it.) That's why people say the phrase once in a blue moon.
The day I first spoke to you, exactly 2 years ago today, was like a blue moon for me. I've met a lot of people in my life. But not even one person comes close to you. The first day I spoke to you, I thought oh my god, why's this cool person talking to me? Still dont fully know. But I'm glad he is.
You are like a blue moon to me cos you're equal amounts beautiful inside and out. You treat me better than anybody ever has. And you continually make me happy cos your kindness just sinks into me and just randomly makes me smile.
