Acid on my tongue
You were supposed to save me
But you have burned my tastebuds
With your sour tongue
Kissing me away from who I was
Seconds ago I was falling in love
But now you've lost my trust
You burned my tongue
With your acid taste
And barbed wire remains
I need someone balanced
In between alkaline
And acidity
But you are pineapple
And I've tasted too much
Of your sour energy
To ever feel anything but that
Around you
