Your eyes show pain
Those precious blue orbs
You have tortured thoughts
No denying it
I can see the tears you're fighting
You have blue thoughts
Dont call me selfish or absorbed
I just want those tears to stop
For those fragile cheeks to not be so wrought
For those smile lines not to contort
Into a form
That does not look like mine
Or the one you usually adorn
I stare into those eyes
And I fall
Into despair
How can you be sad now?
I am there in your thoughts
From the clouds
That I am in
I watch those tears descending
Can you not feel where my hands are resting
There, in that silky dark hair
That I'd compare to the sky at night
That day
We said our wedding vows
Can you not feel my arms
The ones that held you
When you used to cry
That you didnt want this to be my last night
Can you not feel my eyes
That are looking ar you now
From the sky
As you mourn
Why did I have to die
I vowed that I'd hold you
When you cried
And all you are holding
Is blue thoughts
In those oval eyes
