Tying back your errant hair
Looking at you in the mirror
Trying to help you see clearer
Then I snatched up the light
That reflected your eyes
And you were in the dark
I broke your fucking heart
Cos I stopped holding you in my arms
And I let the world cause you harm
And I gave you no-one to talk to
When I should have been by your side
I want you to be okay tonight
Coz I'd love it if you loved your life
And were okay tonight
