Chapter 4

"You can move now."

I snapped from my thoughts when he spoke and then I squinted my eyes a bit when I felt my head starting to throb in pain again.

"Is that how you thank someone for helping you?" He asked a bit annoyed at my expression that he didn't know that it wasn't for him but because of my headache. 

His way of speaking irritate the hell out of me at alam ko na hindi lang ito dahil sa sakit ng aking ulo, so all niceness in body flew out of the galaxy.

"Firstly, I didn't ask for your help. Second, what are you doing here?" irita kong tanong sa kanya.

This is my place and he can't just come barging in and claim that he is a hero who saved me. I don't need him and I want him gone, out of my sight. 

"Is there a third?" He smirked cockily. 

Lalo akong nairita sa kanyang kayabangan na ipinakita kaya hindi ko na napigilan ang pagkunot ng aking noo. 

"Are you hiding? Then you are not doing it right." Dagdag pa niya. 

Oh, I'm good at hiding. Ask my Dad. If I want to hide, I'll make sure that no one will ever find me unless I want them to. That's how Dad found me, because I didn't move when I had the chance.

I scoffed and crossed my arms on my chest. "Third, you are an ass. Who are you again?"

He put his hands on the pocket of his black suit pants and didn't held back his hard stare from me. 

"Clearly you are not paying attention."

"Because it's not worth my time." Balik ko sa kanya saka tuluyang naglakad palayo.

Gusto ko pa sana siyang banggain to state my irritation to him pero sa tindig niya ay malamang ako pa ang masasaktan at baka madapa pa ako kaya todo iwas nalang ako na mataman siya.

"Sophia."

I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard his cold, manly voice call me by my first name. I can't explain it but every time he speaks, it is like a command that I instantly pay attention to and obey.

Kinilabutan pa ako nang maramdaman ang hininga niya malapit sa aking tainga mula sa aking likuran pero hindi ko pa rin nakuhang umalis sa aking kinatatayuan.

"You think you can do this on your own? Getting all catty on me won't get you points."

Humarap ako sa kanya at sa sobrang inis ko ay nagawa ko siyang itulak sa kanyang dibdib ng napakalakas and I was satisfied na kahit isang hakbang lang ay nalayo siya sa akin.

"You're invading my personal space and mind you, I don't like you or your points. You can have it because I want out," matapang kong sabi with my chin up. 

Wala akong pakialam kung masaktan siya o ano. Mabuti ng magkaliwanagan kami una palang because I am not into him and he won't get me in any way. Just a big no.

Imbis na mainis o magalit siya ay nagulat pa ako when he smirked, then looked at me from head to toe that got me shivered. 

"Who says I like you? I'm glad the feeling is mutual." He excessively sighed a relief. 

Sinara ko ang aking bibig na hindi ko namalayan na nagbuka na pala. Hindi ko alam kung maiinis ako sa sinabi niya because that is like an insult to me but then again, nauna naman ako so all is fair.

Tinaas ko ang aking kilay in a defensive stance and did the same to him. I looked at him from his clean cut hair, to his manly face, lean body, long legs, and down to his clean black formal shoes.
