Part 55

*3rd person point of view*

"The question will be. When does a ninja strike? And your response has to be. A ninja strikes when the time is right, when the enemy sleeps and drops his guard, when his weapons are forgotten in the stillness of the night. That is the time to strike" Sasuke said. Sakura has a big smile on her face while Naruto and Shi looked confused at him.

"How the heck do you think we would be able to remember that poem?" Shi said as he stood up from his crouched position. "You got one a little shorter?" Naruto asked as sweat pored out of his head and steam out his ears. 

"Come on what is wrong, I memorized it easy" Sakura said to Naruto. "Well not everyone is a genius like you , you know" Shi said as he looked around the area where they are in. The forest seemed to clam down. Most of the chaos seemed like it is averted and people found there hiding places. 

"All right then i will take the scroll" Sasuke said as eh stood up and took the scroll that was in the middle of the group. 

"Hold on Sasuke dont you think Shi shou-" Naruto started but was cut off as a senbon needle cut through his face. The team looked in the direction the thing was thrown. In a instant a large burst of wind traveled through the forest area. 

Was this meant to be a attack or a diversion?

A large dust cloud was kicked up. The team along with Shi was knocked back against some trees. 

After the dust settled there were 3 ninjas standing there. 

"Guys get down, I dont like this" Shi said as he got out his Kunai and went up onto a tree. The others went to hide under some bushes. 

Shi looked around the area in search for what attacked them. Suddenly he heard Naruto shout. "WHAT WAS THAT?! YOU COULD OF KILLED ME!" Shi quickly looked down and saw Sasuke throwing some kunai towards Naruto. Sighing loudly he jumped down and landed next to the boy. "Hold it, What is the pass word?" Sasuke asked. 

"Does it look like i give a shit about that poem you rehearsed" Shi said as he looked down at the boy. "Who the fuck are you?" Shi asked looking at the boy. 

"Shi it is me Naruto" he said as he quickly jumped onto his feet. 

"Well if your Naruto then why dont i sense his chakra in you?" Shi asked in a serious tone, his hand gripped tightly around the kunai he was hiding. 

"Aren't we the clever one" The boy said. His voice changed to that of a womans. Shi quickly jumped back so that he stood next to his brother. Naruto poofed into a big cloud of smoke and revealed a weird looking woman. 

"This should be interesting" The woman said as her long tong stretched out her mouth to lick her lips. 

"You know i have this earth scroll and it would go so nicely with your Heaven scroll" The woman said as she stuffed her scroll into her mouth. "Your really creepy you know that" Shi said looking at the woman as if she was some sort of alien. 

"Well when this is over, one of us would be dead while the other will have both scrolls. The woman said as she extended her hand towards the group. 

The woman sent all her killing intent towards the them. Shi looked at Sasuke and Sakura as they both had this horrified face. He knew that the woman scared both of them. "Are you ok Sasuke?" Shi asked as he knelled next to his brother. "T-t-that woman. when i looked into her eyes i saw the moment of m-my death" Sasuke said. His eyes were filled with fear and his heart pumped at a million miles per hour. 

"You know your really pissing me off" Shi said, his hair covered his eyes in darkness. His body was tense and shaking but not from fear. It was from anger. 

"Oh how so?" The woman teased.  "First you make my team feel scared and second.....you dont even show us your true face" Shi said as he looked up. His eyes were no loner there beautiful black color but they were his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes. "so you must be Shi correct?" The woman said looking directly into the sharingan eyes. 

"Yeah what about it?" Shi said, he wanted to attack this woman but he still does not know what type of power she holds. "You have made a real name for yourself in the criminal community. If i recall correctly they call you , Shi of the vanishing flame . Huh this would be a interesting fight" The woman said as her face started to chip off and revealed the face of a man. "And who might you be then?" Shi said ,his eyes scanned the area for any hidden attacks. 

"Well since you are a worthy opponent i will tell you." The woman said as another body regurgitated out of her mouth to reveal a really creepy man. 

"You may call me Orochimaru"
