Part 74

*3rd person point of view* 

After the little fun bot boys had, there training started. 

"Ok Shi can you give me he scroll i gave you yesterday?" Jiraiya asked. With a quick nod Shi took out the scroll from his pouch and handed it to Jiraiya. 

"Wait a minute.....please dont tell me you read this scroll?" Jiraiya asked.

"I did more than that. But yesterday you said something along the lines of this is a easy jutsu? Well the letter i found in it told me it is more of a destructive jutsu" 

"Wait a minute you taught Shi a new Jutsu before me! Well we can clearly see who you like more now" Naruto pouted which was totally ignored by the two others.

"I want to talk to you about this later. Anyway lets get to todays lesson. Naruto do you remember about yesterday when you told me you had two types of chakra?"

"Wait we talked yesterday?"

"Dont be funny. You told me you had one blue and one red? You said when you exerted enormous strength you felt red chakra instead of the normal blue one. Well i want you to get rid of your blue chakra so we can rely on the red one ok?"

"What are we doing today anyway?" Shi asked just before yawning a bit. 

"We will be doing the summoning jutsu. I am letting both of you sign the toad scroll so that your main summoning animal would be toads"

"Wait toads! Why would we want to summon such useless things why not a Lion or a bear?" Naruto asked.

"Excuse me toads are amazing! Well if you dont want it i will just let Shi sign it without you. The gap between you and Shi will only grow then" Jiraiya said whispering the last part. 

"No no no no! Toads are amazing and there is totally no way Shi will be better than i am at summoning them."

"Are you sure about that. I will summon a way bigger toad than you" Shi said with a grin on his face. 

"No you wont you will summon a tadpole " 

"Well at least i wont summon noting" 

"Thats enough you two. lets get started. Naruto is there a way that you can deplete your normal Chakra?" Jiraiya asked after breaking up the small 'chat'  the boys were having.

"I got an idea. Naruto why dont you just summon hundreds of your clones and then have a fight to the death with them?" Shi suggested. 

"That sounds fun believe it!" Naruto exclaimed before summoning around 70 clones. All of them soon started fighting each other. 

"This might take a while. The idiot is lacking in the brains a bit, but when it comes to chakra reserves he is like a god" Shi said towards Jiraiya before sitting down on a near by rock. 

Hours went by before a tired Naruto desummoned all the clones. "there.....all chakra.....gone" Naruto said before falling on the ground. 

"Perfect now lets begin you two." Jiraiya said as he got off his seated position before summoning a giant scroll. "This is a summoning scroll. It needs to be signed in blood so i suggest y-" Jiraiya was quickly cut off as Naruto bit open his finger before signing his name in the scroll. 

"How can you just bite open your finger like that" Shi asked as he looked down at his own finger. 

"Its easy if you do it a bunch of times you hardly feel it later on" Jiraiya said as Naruto kept on signing. After Naruto finished Shi hesitantly bit his own finger open before signing it. As soon as Shi's blood touched the scroll it turned into smoke. The more Shi tried to write his name the more it created smoke on the scroll. 

"Why does it not allow me to sign it?" Shi asked. 

"Maybe you already signed a summoning scroll. Why dont you both summon your own summoning so we can see your animal" Jiraiya said as he desummoned the scroll. 

Both boys did there hand signs before a cloud of smoke covered the area. In front of Naruto was a small tadpole while in front of Shi was a dark blue egg. Jiraiya looked at the egg curiously. 

"A egg?" Naruto said before poking the thing. Suddenly the tiny egg  bursted in blue flames causing Naruto to jump back. "I didn't do anything!" 

"Dont worry Naruto i think this is just how this creatures is?" Jiraiya said as he looked curiously at the burning egg. 

"Oh Naruto eat your words. You summoned a tadpole" Shi said in a teasing tone causing Naruto to pout. "Well at least it is not a egg of all things"  Naruto exclaimed causing Shi to go into his pouty corner 

"Tell me Naruto did you use the red chakra?" Jiraiya asked. 

"yeah i did...well i think i did" 

"All right i have a plan for both of you." Jiraiya said in a mischievous tone. Both boys shrugged it off before following Jiraiya to where ever he is taking them. 

After a short while of walking they soon made there way to a small ravine that had spikes at the bottom. 

"Why are we here?" Shi asked as he looked down the small ravine. 

"Well Naruto your red chakra only comes out in moments of need and Shi you undershot how much chakra is needed so....have fun" Jiraiya said as he pushed both boys down the ravine. 

Screams of them filled the area but soon stopped when they both knew what to do. With quick hand movements from them the small ravine was soon filled. 

The darkness from the ravine was quickly taken over by a bright blue light before a giant blue phoenix shot out of the ravine with Shi grabbing on it's tail. Naruto was sprung out with a giant toad. 

"Well they messed up" Jiraiya said with a slight sweat drop. "Why did they have to summon these two?"
