That Night—Japan, Hosu City
It's well over night time by now, and the only thing to look out for was the usual drunkards. Then again, there wasn't much to worry about to begin with, seeing that there were already the police and occasional Pro-Heroes patrolling the area at this time.
And this was exactly the place that Iida would have chosen for his internship had things worked out differently.
Rather, he wasn't here. Instead, lurking in the shadows of the alleyways and the streets were a pair of cunning eyes, sharp and vigilant as blood-red cloth flowed in the wind, trailing after the figure. His breath was shaky sometimes, but other than that, he was still as healthy as any man could get.
Most were asleep, and he didn't have to worry about being spotted. Plus, if anything happen, he'd be able to handle himself in a fight; he's not just called the Hero Killer for nothing.
He looks up to the sky, something in his gut telling him something rather... odd.
His lips curved into a manic grin, feeling that things were about to become much, much more interesting.

Meanwhile—Japan, Musutafu
"So that's it?"
"All the details, down to every single second, I wrote in the reports, Tsukauchi. I'm not lying."He knows what Izuku is; he's not a liar, that's for sure. Without needing to use his 'Quirk' or look into the boy's eyes, he could tell that he was being honest, judging by the tone alone. Plus, Toshinori always did say that the boy was as honest as the day is long.
He nodded, placing the report the boy had written on today's mission into his suitcase, shutting it. He'll look into it even further when he has time.
"Well, thank you for everything that you've done. And I have to admit, your costume certainly makes you look cool," chuckled the man, to which the boy smiled back.
"Wasn't part of the plan, but ," he says back, standing up with the man. "Well, I'd better go. The girls won't like me staying here for too long," he was about to turn, but he remembered something. "But hey, what are we going to do with his daughter?"
"Hmm? Ah, right, his daughter," there's something akin to uncertainty in his sigh, his gaze moving to Izuku slowly. "I don't know. We've checked her files, and all her relatives are living in France. Her father's the only family she has left, and seeing that he'll be sent back to prison, this does prove to be a bit complicated..."
"A bit, huh?" Quipped the boy, before scratching the back of his head. "Well... for all that it's worthy, I've already become a caretaker of sorts. Have to deal with five girls in my life, and you can imagine just how crazy things get."
That's an understatement; no matter just how much he tries to put words to his situation, there's just so many things that make it all the more crazier no matter how much he tries to simplify it.
But hey? At least things aren't bad.
Hopefully it stays that way for a good while longer.
"So what I'm saying here is... how about I take her in?" He says, getting a look of surprise. "I won't necessarily ask her to join us, that would be a terrible idea. Already has her father behind bars, and I'm not in the mood to force her to do things she doesn't want to. Just give her a place to stay until she decides on where she wants to go."
"I see..." Humming, the detective ponders on the thought for a minute before he nods. "Very well then. If you think this is the best course of action, then I shall trust you to it. Watch over her, and if anything comes up, just give me a call."
