A Few Days Later

The morning was at least cooler than he had expected, something that he could appreciate since the past few days had been seeing a rise in temperature. Reluctantly, he had to hand over the task of packing up his own bags to his sisters and mother, with Himiko threatening to hit him with a rolling pin if he didn't listen—which she later rectified, stating instead that she would tickle him to unconsciousness. In the end, he relented, and as much as they seriously didn't have to do anything...

Well, looks like they packed just about everything he needed, and somehow made his bags not heavy. That's got to be some magic stuff at work there.

Nonetheless, he said his thanks and left home, waving to his sisters, mother and mentor at the door—Toshinori had asked if he could stay the next few nights, which none of them minded—before he took a train ride to school. Forty minutes, or so, and he was already there.

'Huh?' He looked around, noticing the two buses but no people. The only ones there were Vlad King, Aizawa and Iida, who perked up at the sight of his friend, approaching him. Izuku smiled back. "Morning, Iida-kun."

"Good morning, Midoriya-kun! I am happy to see that you are quite punctual," says the bluenette. "How was your summer?"

"Ehh, quite okay. I mean, I wasn't able to take part in any missions because my sisters said I'm apparently too injured," scoffed the boy as he loaded his baggage into the bus. "I mean, I'm perfectly fine!"

"Well, considering the situation that you were in, I can understand what they mean," nodded the taller male, offering him a serious look. "Attempting to defeat All Might is a bold move, Midoriya-kun. You are quite lucky that you're not wounded terribly!"

"Well, when you have a smaller build and is naturally faster, dodging attacks is actually quite simple," he says in turn, smiling simply. "Trust me, I'm fine."

Back home, Toshinori had the feeling like his successor just insulted him, looking up in confusion. The girls and Inko looked at him, wondering what he was thinking about.

"Well, if you say so," nodded the bluenette, unaware of the current situation going on in his friend's home (something of which said person doesn't know of either anyways), expression morphing into an awed one. "But I must say! Congratulations to all of your classmates for passing both exams! My class hadn't been too lucky."

"Oh? There have been those who failed?" Asked the other boy.

"Monoma-kun was one," he said that with a sigh. "Then there was Kaminari-kun, Sero-kun, Mineta-kun, and Kirishima-kun."

"Five people, huh? Ddaeng... Still, all of you did great, so be proud about that," nodded the boy.

From there, the two slipped into a conversation about other topics, laughing about some things as they waited for the other students to arrive. In no time later, more and more had come along, and Izuku could see everyone dressed so casually. He wasn't an exception, and it certainly felt nice to get out of the uniform for once.

As usual, there always had to be some problems, that being in the form of Mineta trying to cop a look at the girls, which usually ended up in him getting a beatdown, as well as making a squabble about how jealous he was (Kaminari joined in) towards Izuku, who had done everything he could to ignore the midget.

Then there was Monoma, who never failed to antagonise Class 1-A. He certainly had that jealous look and terrible mannerisms as usual, but was easily shut up by a smack to the back of his neck from Itsuka.

Everyone looked at her, then to the unconscious boy, then to the girl.

"I... learned this trick a few days ago," she admitted with a sheepish smile. "Went too far?"
